"Athena were amazing. Clearly skilled musicians and play brilliantly together. They certainly went the extra mile for us last night. Everything was executed perfectly with backing tracks timed to perfection. Having live strings was a total success. I would be delighted to recommend them without reservation."

"Hi Anne Thank you very much for everything, apologies for the delay in my reply, we have been in Barcelona for a few days! We did have a wonderful day, I was sad not to have heard you all playing more (the perils of having photos taken!) however lots of people commented on how nice the selection of music was, and how lovely the playing was in general. "Lizzie and I would like to thank you for the amazing performance on our wedding day in November at Rudby Hall. We had so many comments to say how perfect the addition a string quartet was while people arrived and then after the ceremony and we completely agree with them. With a mixture of classical songs and modern covers it really was a great fit for our special day. The additional songs we requested were also perfectly executed and we will remember them whenever we think back to the day. We both highly recommend The North West String Quartet to make a wedding that bit more memorable. "

"They played at our Wedding last June and were absolutely fantastic, all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and they were undoubtedly a real highlight for our drinks reception. It provided a really nice atmosphere for when people arrived back from the church. Thank you!"

"I’m only just getting around to saying our thank yous and I wanted to say a big one to you and the rest of the EM strings squad on the day! The music was wonderful - I’m only seeing snippets of it now on our guests’ videos from the ceremony and it sounds absolutely beautiful! Thank you for coping in the 34degree heat and putting on a beautiful show for our guests to enjoy. "Caroline was quite professional and very engaging with the crowd.She managed to learn a few new tunes as well.She managed to mix Bollywood and western music very well and kept the crowd engaged for an hour.We were very happy with her service."

"We had The Ebor Quartet play at our wedding and they absolutely made our day extra special. We had them play at the church first and as soon as I heard them play my walking down the aisle song I was in tears, it was so beautiful. They then went onto our drinks reception where everyone sang their praises! Nothing was a problem and when I emailed Conor he was always so helpful and fast replying. We hope to be able to enjoy their music again in the future!"
