"May I just start by saying thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our day truly magical. I could hear you playing whilst I was waiting to enter the room all the songs I had requested, my walk in music was everything I had hoped for and the wonderful world you played whilst I signed the register still gives me goosebumps when I think about it. The guests loved you playing up beat numbers like queen during our afternoon tea (I think you could tell by all the singing going on) and then to carry on with an encore at the end was just brilliant ! I will make sure to recommend you to anybody I know getting married or having a special occasion. We hope to cross paths with you all again one day. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!"

"We booked Astri Strings for our celebration event at The Post Barn, Newbury. Jude was a delight to deal with during the booking stage, gave us a lovely pre-event call to check everything was in order and arrived as planned on the day. Jude and Vicki provided the perfect background music for our event with a gorgeous mix of Classical and Bridgerton style music to welcome guests arriving. Everyone appreciated having live musicians as they looked fabulous and sounded fantastic. Thank you both, from the WD Farmers team, for making our event extra special. July 2024 "

"The 440 String Quartet suited my needs exactly and delivered far beyond expectations! They are incredibly professional and I was astounded by how fast they were able to pick up new music. I needed a quartet for a concert where the time frame was limited and this group met it with ease. Extremely well priced and enthusiastic players! Will definitely be using their services again! "Caroline and Luke played at our wedding on Feb 24th in Bury St Edmunds and I cannot recommend Element String enough. They were absolutely fantastic and I feel lucky to have had them playing at our wedding. So many guests commented on the quality and variety of the music they played and how it created a great atmosphere for the event. From the outset we received quick responses from Caroline and a friendly and flexible approach. She was happy to adjust length of time and number of musicians to fit our budget. We had the duo to play as guests were arriving and having welcome drinks , then through the ceremony itself and for most of the drinks reception that followed. We had thought we would be indoors on the day given it was Feb but due to uncharacteristically hot weather , the drinks were taken outside onto the terrace. Caroline and Luke being very flexible moved outside with us which was amazing. The group have a good repertoire to select from so you can have classical for the more formal moments in your day and something more jazzy afterwards to give a party feel. The duo created the perfect level of sound for the size of our ceremony room and number of guests (around 85). If we had a greater budget we would have taken the trio or even quartet without thinking as their previous reviews were so positive. I’m sad that I didn’t get to meet Caroline and Luke properly to say a big thank you. On the wedding day itself everything just seems to happen around you without you having any chance to veer off schedule. I bumped into Caroline by chance as I was being shown into the dining room and she was lovely , very warm and friendly. She and Luke arrived nice and early to set up and what is great is they are fully acoustic. Everything you hear is fully their talent and no electrics/amplifiers and wires required so it is easy to set up in almost any part of the room you require. They created such atmosphere for our ceremony - I could not have been more delighted with them. If you are looking for musicians for your wedding or other event that are extremely talented in their range of music, flexible , easy to deal with , fairly priced and transparent - then look no further than Element Strings. "

"From the first contact, Warwickshire Strings were great. I loved listening to the selections they had of the pieces they played on their website and the amount of songs they were able to play was incredible. Rachel was always at hand for advice. In the emotion of the day I can't actually remember walking down the aisle, but thankfully I have been able to watch a video of it. The quartet were fabulous and looking back I can see all the guests admiring the music too. I have had numerous comments from guests about how good the music was during the ceremony and the drinks reception. Thank you so much for being part of my day! "

"We booked Ebor Quarter for our wedding and they were everything I hoped they would be! With a great repertoire of songs to choose from it was a great way to entertain our guests whilst waiting for the ceremony to start - so many of our guests commented on how great they were!! And as the bride, it made a very special moment of walking down feel even more special and so full of emotion! Communication throughout has been great and I'm looking forward to attending some of their other events sometime soon! If you've not booked yet- do it!! you won't regret it!!"
