"Ebor Quartet played at our wedding last weekend at The Grand Hotel in York. They played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and were absolutely stunning from start to finish. So many of our guests commented on their performance & our little 2 year old nephew couldn't get enough of them - applauding each time they finished a song! They really added that magical sparkle one wants at a wedding. Ebor were recommended by our venue and I can see why. From the moment we booked them, Conor was helpful and communicative via email, and easily adapted to any requests we had. We decided fairly late on in the planning process to extend cocktail hour out a little longer to ensure myself and my new husband would be able to enjoy time with our guests and Conor quickly assured me they'd be able to stay for the extended time & enabled us to make an extra payment for the added time. They honoured all requests we had when it came to song choices (eg: My Girl for the aisle walk, and we wanted Vivaldi's Spring to open cocktail hour but were otherwise flexible on the order of our chosen songs) They also provided a bit of guidance where relevant - helpful when one doesn't book these sorts of things on a regular basis! Overall - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ebor - if you're thinking about booking them, go for it ✨️ Our guests are still talking about them! 💙"

You were amazing - everybody commented about your playing and how they thoroughly enjoyed the music - it was a great decision to have you playing at the wedding and any chance we get to ask you for other functions, we certainly will do. You were professional and at the same time, very friendly and I'm not the only person who commented on the day. It's so good that we could simply put our trust in you - great job!!!! "I can’t express how beautiful the quartet was , they totally made our ceremony unforgettable. Everyone was amazed by the beautiful renditions and the playing of our Cannon In D major for our wedding entry piece . I can’t thank them enough. True professionals. Lovely people to converse with. I can’t thank them enough ,100% recommend them, if you want the feel and atmosphere of a truly special wedding then look no further than the Wigornia string quartet. Their music created the most magical atmosphere from the moment guests arrived and walking down the aisle to your beautiful playing was unforgettable. "Astri Strings delivered a fabulous performance both in the courtyard and later after dinner in the Orangery with a mix of classical and “Bridgerton style” music. " I want to say a huge thanks to everyone in the orchestra, and particularly to you for being so supportive and sharing your experience and expertise on what has felt like a huge personal journey for me with Gerontius. The most difficult thing about delivering the piece is in managing the demands Elgar makes whilst always being present in the moment and understanding the purpose. It is a truly unique piece of music and I could not have wished for a more wonderful and confident group of players. They brought fierce resilience, skill, kindness and understanding, and a huge range of expression making anything possible. Best of all, it felt like we were all working as one team.  "

"We had the South Manchester String Quartet to play for my entrance and during the signing. They added real emotion to the day before I had even walked down the aisle. Guests were crying before I came in – I think without them the atmosphere could have been a bit flat and people would certainly have been bored. My favourite part of the wedding has to be walking down the aisle – I don’t think I will ever get butterflies like that again! And – Glen cried! Now that’s a first."
