"Thank you all for your coming down and performing for us, I thought you played beautifully and for me it really made the day special. I just wished I could have stood and listened to you a bit more instead of having to chat and have my picture taken! A lot of people commented on how good you were, and there are a least a few people (including my mum and me) that will be looking out for events to book you for again. "Sounds Interesting String Quartet played at our wedding ceremony on 1st October at St Chad Church and then at our reception at Stockton House afterwards. Not only was their music set fantastic throughout the day (playing both classical and more modern tunes) but they went above and beyond to ensure a special love actually style "All you need is love" performance in the church went off without a hitch!! Throughout the planning process Anne worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly on the day and we could not recommend them more highly for any special occasion! "

"We were thrilled with the music! (On the 15th of May 2015 at Oxenfoord Castle). We thought you guys did a fantastic job during the ceremony. We have had a chance to look back at some of the videos and the pieces that we asked you to learn sounded great (2 new arrangements of Irish folk pieces). Unfortunately we missed most of the music during the drinks reception due having photos taken, but we spoke to lots of guests who all said the music was brilliant.  And I believe a few of the Canadian’s were trying to pressure you into staying longer – sorry about that!  Overall we had a great day, and we think our guests did too, and you and your players were a big part of that, so we’d like to thank you for your great effort."

"Thank you immensely for the absolutely superb performance at Ratho Parish Church. The success of a wedding relies so much on background music and Scotland Strings certainly excelled in that regard. Personally, Gill and I missed out somewhat as our arrival, by dint of normal bride and father custom and practice, occurred in the late stages of your performance. However, our guests spoke very highly indeed of your presence and delivery and raved of how the quality enhanced a momentous occasion.
