"Thank you so much for performing at my daughter’s 30th birthday party. Thank you for accommodating all the different age groups attending the party. You covered a lot of genre’s! Your professionalism, kind manner and sense of humour was infectious. Everyone loved you. Most importantly you have a fantastic voice. "What can I say other than these 2 wonderful performers made my recent cruise . I thought they were the best thing on the ship and hope that Ambassador realise this Kelly can sing absolutely anything and makes every song her own in the most relaxed way she makes it seem easy and I know that for the amount of time she had to sing every night it would be anything but easy . Graham is an amazing musician and plays guitar as well as Hank Marvin Thank you both for making my cruise so enjoyable xxxxxxxx Ps I’m the women who whispered thanks on the last night as I walked past on last night x"

"I just have to thank Black Velvet Band for the great job they did at my 70th birthday ceilidh in Bristol on 24th June. I had such a great time, and that was partly down to the three of them working hard, and giving us great music to dance to. I danced every dance and enjoyed it so much. When the caller was explaining how to reel I thought, "Uh oh, this'll be fun!" and it certainly was ... I haven't laughed so much in ages. So, well done everyone involved, and if we ever have another I'll be sure to contact you again."

"Steve, Geoff and Absolute Band were brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Really friendly people, superb musicians and ensured our dancefloor was busy all night. "We hired It Takes 2 to perform for my daughters wedding and they didn't disappoint. Great communication, and went out of their way to put special song requests in for us. Made a point of including the children and getting them to do all the dance moves. They really read the room and had people up dancing from beginning to end. Everyone loved them. We will be recommending them to all of our friends and family. Thank you both."

"What a fabulous party we had with everyone entering into the spirit of the ceilidh! The music was great and the caller was exceptionally patient with the disproportionate number of young men at the party. It was a really mixed crowd – plenty of teens and twenties, through to those in their eighties. The dance floor was full throughout the evening and everyone, both young and old joined in, including the determined non dancers. Several people commented on what a lovely time they’d had. I’m very happy to recommend the band."
