"Dear Anne, Thanks, once again all your hard work in putting together a wonderful orchestra for me and helping to make Saturday Evening such a success. We had great feedback from the audience. It was a pleasure to work with you once again after such a long shutdown. I think everyone was thrilled to be back in action. There was some really expressive playing - quite an achievement with so little time to rehearse - a testament to professionalism. Loved conducting you all. "We were looking for a Cello and Violin player to join us on our latest EP recording and were very fortunate to have Shimmer Strings join us. They were very professional, reliable and friendly. As a dark rock band we needed musicians who could appreciate our style of music and that could recognise, interpret and enhance the atmospheric string elements that we required, which they both did exceptionally. We are all so happy with how the tracks sound, the strings have taken it to another level and captured the emotional content so well. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a committed and hardworking duo and we look forward to working with Rebecca and Julianne again in the near future!"

"Can honestly say that the quartet was one of the best parts of our wedding. Blending classical and rock as well as the sudden rush back in for the Star Wars cantina song. What can I say, 10 out of 10 would recommend purely for recreation as well as for official functions!"

"The girls were absolutely amazing, and of course the two guys as well! The performance was absolutely stunning and I’ve had great feedback from so many people. The outfits the girls were wearing were amazing and their energy was contagious. It was especially wonderful that they came out for a second set which was just absolutely beautiful and perfect –– that was completely awesome! Please do send them all my sincere thanks."

"We absolutely loved The Capriccio Quartet for our recent wedding. Their repertoire is very varied, they arrived early and started playing on time. It was a magical moment when they played Canon in D as I walked down the aisle, seamlessly switching to Elton John 'Your Song' and Snow Patrol as we signed the register. Everyone commented on how the music added so much to the atmosphere. They were absolute professionals and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who wanted a really varied mix of modern and classical for their wedding! Thanks so much! "
