Review Centre: String Quartets

"I was looking on last minute musicians to book a string quartet for my wedding. They got in touch quickly and Kirsten was extremely helpful in sorting everything out. They have pages of songs, from classical to movie themes, choosing from the list was the hard part, because I loved so many songs. But they were constantly in touch making sure I chose the right songs. At the wedding they made my day extra special. All the guests were floored with their music. They were enthusiastic and really looked like they were having a great time! I can’t thank them enough and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book them. "

"Well, all I can say is WOW! The talented musicians that came and performed at our wedding at Selby Abbey yesterday left us all speechless with their talent and music. "Winter's Day Out for Sight Loss Shropshire. I was very happy with the choice of music - a lovely mix of classical and popular. "The 440 String Quartet suited my needs exactly and delivered far beyond expectations! They are incredibly professional and I was astounded by how fast they were able to pick up new music. I needed a quartet for a concert where the time frame was limited and this group met it with ease. Extremely well priced and enthusiastic players! Will definitely be using their services again! "From us both, we cannot thank you enough. We booked Flux Ensemble for our wedding, to perform for guests arrival, bridal entrance, a guest sing-a-long and the drinks reception. The music was beautifully played on our wedding day and everything worked so seamlessly. The team are full of enthusiasm and made our day so special. There was a lot of effort and prep prior to our wedding day by Martin in order for our day to be so perfect; martin is incredibly responsive, great at bouncing ideas off and even sent us a snippet of a mash-up we were considering (and ended up having for the bridal entrance). This effort didn’t go unnoticed and we are truly so grateful we found you!"

"Jaya and Sarah, we can’t thank you enough for playing for us at our wedding in Jersey. The music was outstanding, and loved by all our guests. Many commented on the wide range of your repertoire and the incredible arrangements. You made the day really special. From playing on the terrace (hope it wasn’t too hot!), the beautiful music during the ceremony and throughout the wedding breakfast, the wonderful music created a warm, relaxed ambience. To anyone considering Jaya and Sarah, the Chapel Hill Duo, for any event, including a wedding- do not hesitate for a moment. They play to an incredibly high standard, with a wide range of styles from classical, pop, film themes and folk. And play all of these styles equally well. They are two extremely nice, friendly people and a complete pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend the Chapel Hill Duo highly enough. Booking the duo for your wedding is one of the wisest choices you will ever make!"
