"Absolutely amazing!! We hired Mariachi Las Valentinas for a Mexican Day of the Dead party and were totally blown away by the quality of the music and the talent of the musicians. They really made the party go with a swing, and played a really good mixture of fast songs that had the audience up and dancing, and some slower songs that gave people a chance to catch their breath. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they brought so much joy to our party - more than happy to personally recommend if there's anyone out there in two minds about whether to book them, just contact us via thephoenixgarden.org and we'll give you any extra details you need. Totally brilliant and we just can't thank this wonderful band enough - we had so many comments from local families who attended the event and told us how much they enjoyed the music. It almost felt as though we'd got some old friends to come and perform for us. If you're thinking of music for your party we'd wholeheartedly recommend Mariachi Las Valentinas - just please don't book them for any Day of the Dead events, because well be needing them again!!"

"A HUGE thank you to Mark and the band for playing at our wedding. Mark played saxophone during the post-ceremony drinks which everyone loved - especially my Nan! The band played at the evening reception and they were absolutely fantastic and had everyone up on their feet dancing - the dance floor was never empty while they were playing ! I’ve had many guests say to me how genuinely amazing the band were and that it was the best band they’d seen at a wedding! They made our wedding evening so much fun and I would definitely recommend this band for any large event. Thank you so much. "

"Sarah and Jaya were so friendly and helpful when we booked them and were deciding which songs we wanted. They made the organisation really easy and stress free. They played a selection of contemporary music, mixed with some disney, for our guests as they were arriving at the church for the wedding, followed by our choices and a special arrangement for our last song, The Legend of Zelda theme song! They played beautifully and lots of our guests have commented on how lovely it was and how amazing they sounded! They really set the mood for our wedding and made our day perfect! Highly recommended!"

"I hired the BV's to play for me after hearing them play at a friend’s house party, and once again their performance was excellent. I asked for lively, bubbly and jazzy music and that was exactly what I got, though I am sure they could turn their hand to a whole range of music. Since the party I have had a great many positive comments and praise from guests saying how much they had enjoyed the music and the natural ease with which it was delivered. I would recommend them highly and definitely hire them again."

"Absolutely fantastic. The energy, quality of sound, musicianship, choice of songs, performance and togetherness as a group. They had us dancing the entire time. Personal highlight was when the saxophonist led us in a conga line out of the building and back in again. One guest said it was the best live music they had seen. They were so easy and responsive to organise logistics with. They even helped us rent an accordion that one of our guests played during the ceremony. Worth every penny and would love to see them live again!"

"Martin proved to be he ideal entertainer for my 80th birthday. It was not meant to be a " dancing " evening and his repertoire was superb. He was very professional ( And very reasonable !!! ). Would recommend both him and you to interested parties"

"Havana Sound were the perfect addition to our corporate networking event, and provided a fantastic ambiance and atmosphere to the evening! The trio sounded incredible, and working with Alessandro and Sarah-Jane in the lead up was seamless and very easy. I would highly recommend them for any kind of event!"

"We first stumbled across Ed & Oliviya when they performed an acoustic set for the Bedford Gin Festival back in 2018. When we started planning our wedding in the Loire Valley, France my [now] wife and I both suggested we contact them to see if they'd be willing to travel and perform for us. Having contacted Ed directly, I cannot overstate how great he was to deal with. Ed was always prompt in his responses, from the quotation to additional requests we made along the way (and also on the day itself). Nothing was ever too much for them and they added significantly to our special day. We had a large number of guests specifically mention how much they enjoyed Ed & Oliviyas music - they performed before the ceremony and also got the party started after dinner. They make a fantastic duo, with Ed on guitar and Oliviya's stunning vocals. I would whole-heartedly recommend using these two if you have a special event which requires some music.
