"For our school's 60th celebration picnic we wanted live music to create a good atmosphere for both the children and parents. Mark had kids, teachers, mums and dads all singing along and dancing. He is excellent at reading a crowd and adjusting the music to suit the event. He is a great singer and performer and I can really recommend him for any event. Thank you Mark for adding so much to our day. We had loads of complements after and everybody loved him."

"We booked Funk With Us for our 30th wedding anniversary and the band completely exceeded our expectations. We were hoping to find a band that would play our favourite hits from the time we first met and the band made an effort to include those songs in their set. Our guests especially loved how engaging both singers and the musicians were, allowing guests to sing along with them! We are very happy we booked Funk With Us and will continue recommending them to our friends. Best of luck with everything, Keith & Rita"

"I was looking for a singer for a remembrance lunch at at a golf club, themed around 40’s and vintage music. I came across Ruby and instantly knew from her friendly manner and keenness to accommodate my requirements she was the perfect fit. Ruby didn’t disappoint, from her costumes to her big personality she had everyone singing, dancing and waving flags. I have since hired Ruby for other events such as The Jubilee and Mother’s day lunch. She is 100% reliable and will go out of her way to make your event a success. I highly recommend her."

"The Warm Room at Coleshill Town hall held a VE day celebration party on 8th May this year and was entertained by the most wonderful and most talented Ruby Sings. Not only did she sing in a beautiful voice, her choice of songs, the costumes and engagement with the audience made for a superb day and brought back memories for those old enough and a good old knees up for us all. "I was so excited when I found Absolute band's website and saw their repertoire and videos of them playing, it was exactly the vibe we were looking for. We booked them originally for June 2020, then moved to April 2021, then again moved to July 2021! Geoff was so kind and understanding and flexible throughout, navigating wedding season in a pandemic and making sure that we could have the numbers of guests we wanted there. They played on 3rd July 2021 and the dancefloor was absolutely banging! Because of covid we had to have an outside dancefloor - they were so flexible and played at the edge of the marquee facing out, whilst we all danced on a patio under a gazebo. It was truly magic. Our guests are a huge mix of ages and the dancefloor was rammed the entire time they were playing. We were running late and they were so flexible by doing an extra long set for us before the music had to turn off. They played all our favourite songs, and played a couple of requests that weren't on their repertoire. I cannot recommend them enough, they are really well priced for the standard of their performance, and I would book them again in an instant!
