"Mark was excellent and I would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone looking to add a bit of live music to their party. Despite stepping in at the last moment (we only booked him the day before when our previous band pulled out), he communicated well, arrived promptly and set up with minimal fuss. He was very flexible regarding timings and judged his setlist and the crowd perfectly with some laid back numbers to start with and some more upbeat songs in the later sets. All this despite constantly being pestered by children to let them sing or to play their favourite song! We would happily book him again in an instant."

"The following is not made up.... but a reflection of the evening! Thank you very much for providing us with fantastic entertainment for our après-ski party! From us being very unhelpful in saying 'we like anything!' you correctly gauged what music we really liked and provided us with superb 90s indie rock music which took us far away from the 40th celebration and back to the 'good old party days'! You also added in some classics which had everyone up on the dance floor. Many people commented to me during the evening, and since, about how brilliant the music was and I am sure you will be getting some requests from them too. Some couldn't believe it was just you and thought we had an entire band up at the front! I only wish we could repeat the party again - we loved it and the music was integral to our party's success. Thank you so much, James and Trish, Chris and Vicki "

"Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "Brilliant band for my sons charity night in Northampton. I booked a 5 piece as I wanted a fiddle player, great musicians, Steve top singer, Luke the engineer was really kind and very helpful with a video link of Zac. "Funk With Us were extraordinary from start to finish. Both Lilac and her partner Remko were very helpful in the lead up to our Wedding and made a huge effort to understand what we wanted from the evening and how to tailor the sets towards our own music tastes. On the night itself, we couldn't have been more impressed. Lilac set the tone for the entire night and really made our Wedding everything we'd dreamed it to be. If you want to have an evening of amazing music led by a highly talented and exciting performer to wow you and your guests, then you really must choose the Funk With Us! I cannot wait to use them again in the future for big life events."

"I am writing to thank you so much for providing the amazing band, Funk With Us to perform at our Chamber Awards Thursday 18th November at Westenhanger Castle. The dance floor was full from the start of the band playing to the very last number with shouts of ‘more’ from the audience after the last one was played. Funk With Us added another level to our most successful Awards evening yet and we have had so many compliments from the guests. Every member of the band was brilliant from the 2 singers who invited the dancers to sing with them on vocals, the saxophonist mingling and the solo guitar performance, drums, bass and keys.
