"We decided on a ceilidh for our wedding reception; we thought it would give our day a great "party" feel. My husband is also Dutch and we wanted something that would suit everyone regardless of age, background and language. We definitely hit the jackpot with Blue Jewel - they did a fantastic ceilidh and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even had grandparents joining in the dancing! The instructions were clear and perfect for all language levels, and Blue Jewel was very flexible (we were running a little late) and had even looked up a Dutch song/dance especially for our wedding! We really enjoyed it and have had nothing but compliments about the band, music, and what a great idea the ceilidh was. I would definitely recommend!"

"Most of all, we wanted to let you know that we loved the band and their music...they were just as good as I'd hoped they would be and they were very easy and pleasant company. Those that did hear and experience the music did love it and thought it added a lovely vibe to the party. Thankyou to Last Minute Music also for your excellent customer service and very smart booking procedure through the website. You've been so easy to communicate with, both through the messages via email and the website but also by phone and it's actually been a really stress-free part of organising a party that meant a lot to us. You've been so helpful and friendly, it felt like a breath of fresh air doing business with you. We'd highly recommend you to any friends or family we know who need some music for an event. Would you please let the band know we would also do the same for them. They were great! We wish you continued success with the business which enables live music to survive and thrive ..something we all need in our lives. "

"I booked Kellys Heroes to play at my 60th birthday party. You were amazing and everyone loved you. Everybody there was talking about how good you were, and they are still talking about it, even now. You were the main feature of the party which people remember! Of course, your excellent local reputation preceded you and that took some living up to - you did so admirably. I was worried that, with such a diverse group of guests, there would be awkward silences but Tony did a sterling job at getting people up on the dance floor and, once they started, they couldn’t stop. Quite a few of my friends commented that they forgot we were all hitting 60 and were dancing like young ‘uns. It says much for your music, though, that the real young ‘uns also joined in and it was a treat to see that younger Irish generation (because about 2/3 of the party were Irish) showing off their traditional dance skills to your music. Your song and tune selection was really excellent. Just the right balance, and lovely to have some songs which were favourites (Billy was completely made up with Carrickfergus) and others which were original compositions. Of course, the standard was – well – absolutely professional. It must be great to have such universal appeal. I can honestly say that your music hit the mark with both young and old; English and Irish – and even the small Greek contingent got up and learned a few dance moves! Your CD is being well-played on Corfu and in Athens now! I noticed a good few of the staff from the bar downstairs snuck in for a sneaky look too. You really made the evening for me and do, please, feel free to use this if you need a testimonial. Looking forward to seeing you soon at one of your gigs. With my very best wishes and thanks again. "The morning after the night before .....Danny was superb . There were only 10/ 12 guests and we booked Danny after seeing his promo videos. He came early - didnt have a lot of equipment as it is a big but not a huge house....his voice and melodies made the night for my husband he was so suprised and every guest was amazed at how smooth and soft Danny s voice was . I made quite a few requests and he managed to fit a good few in - even , a melodic version of Billie Jean which my daughter in law loved. His range of different songs and the ability to sing other artists songs made it even better. He is a lovely man polite , and amenable friendly and suprisingly I read this morning does stand up comedy ??? Wish I knew that last night...lol A perfect singer for a perfect night ...we didnt want him to go. Good luck with your new album Danny.....a very special man....would thoroughlyrecommend "

"Top notch. Maestro Michael composed his piece, then rehearsed and conducted the choir with less than 3 hours rehearsal. Also a world class guitarist-classical and rock. Had a few hits with his own songs too. Quite a combination! "

"The Craigie Ceilidh Band were absolutely fantastic and made our special day that little bit more special. It was wonderful to see so many people, both young and old, taking part and really enjoying themselves.
