"We originally booked Stargazers for our wedding in 2022, and we were so pleased to finally have them at our wedding in 2023 after it was moved due to illness. They were incredible in the run up to the event, and on the day their performance blew us away. Every guest commented how amazing they were, their set list was such a brilliant mix of classics and new songs, to have our first dance with them was a real pleasure! I couldn't recommend them enough!! Thank you to you all for making the wedding night truly memorable for us all - if we ever need a live band in the future then we will definitely be getting in touch! AMAZING!! "

"Now that Zish and I are back from our honeymoon we wanted to say "Thankyou" yet again for the fantastic job you did on our wedding night. Zish and I both really enjoyed it, and loads of people have complemented us on our choice - you did a great job of getting people onto the dance floor. Even people who asked me if I was mad having a ceilidh turned around and told me how glad they were to have been proved wrong, and I know about 2 of the Irish guys surprised everyone by getting up to dance when normally they say "Over my dead body"! Some of Zish's colleagues suggested making ceilidh dancing a regular team event!"

"An entertaining and infectiously ‘feel-good’ evening’s singing and good humour. These Bouys have an astonishing repertoire of shanties at their tongue tips and deliver them with an approachable enthusiasm that makes audience participation feel comfortable. They understand the needs of the venue hosts (in this case a microbrewery) and promote these as part of their set. Extremely good value."

Thanks, Jane Bellinger, so glad you enjoyed the set. The Buoys thorough it enjoyed themselves too. It was their third gig at the Cracklerock, Botley. The Solent Shanty Buoys

"I finally went along to see G Celtic Folk Rock Band when they played at the Old Printworks in Wakefield, close to where I live. I've known Chris for over thirty years. Knew he played fiddle in several different bands over the years and decided it was high time I made the effort! I wasn't disappointed. I was expecting straight Irish folk music but they have a blend of rock, folk, Irish, Yorkshire ballads. Great music, very tight sound with a nod and a wink to traditional Irish and not so traditional ballads. Great musicians who play well together. I intended staying for a couple of pints but stayed the entire evening. Great show boys! See you next time!"

"The band were fantastic! Really professional and the quality was amazing. We had loads of great feedback from the guests too, in fact one of them is interested in booking them for an event this summer! They performed a great version of our first dance song (Everywhere, Fleetwood Mac) - it was very special. Thanks again to you and the band! "

"All ages were able to take part" "Wraggle Taggle Ceilidh Band performed at The Walker Ground in Southgate for a Charity Fundraiser and the night was a great success (Saturday 11th March 2023 Southgate Cricket, Hockey & Squash Rackets Club, 175 Waterfall Road, Southgate, London, N14 7JZ) The caller was fab and engaged with the crowd to get everyone up and dancing. People of all ages were able to take part and were delighted with the live music. There was great communication with Mick before, during and after the event itself. We would highly recommend Wraggle Taggle Ceilidh Band and look forward to having them at events at The Walker Ground in future...." "We had a ceilidh for a volunteer celebration. Even before the event Lilac was super helpful with suggestions of what timings would work well and how to encourage people to get involved. The band arrived in good time to set up and we’re really friendly. They were flexible on the night without us needing to intervene and got people dancing again after a break for speeches. The band also included those with less mobility and were great and encouraging everyone to get involved. We had the majority of people dancing throughout the event. I would totally recommend."
