The music was fantastic but also the calling was top notch and I was amazed at how you managed to wrangle some very confused guests into sort of dancers by the end! Haha! "I just wanted to send you a quick email to say we had a rip roaring old night at the Burns Supper last night and the band loved it themselves! We had a packed dance floor all night although it was a form of disorganised chaos for the most part but everyone had the time of their lives and are mad keen to come again!"

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band came to an event we ran for our students. They were utterly fantastic! They ensured everyone was included, the caller engaged and instructed the audience, and they are great musicians! We have no hesitations in recommending this group. We will be inviting them back!"

"We hired the band many months ago. The communication has been great. On the night they came and set up easily without needing extra help so the party could continue. The music was great and the calling made following the steps really easy. Every single party goer joined in. They did a great job. Now to find the next event to invite them to ...."

"A huge thankyou to Alistair and his fellow musicians who played at our party on Saturday. The music and combination of dances was perfect and we had many comments on your patience with our lack of prowess on the dance floor!  A great band makes the evening and you certainly did that for us. We all enjoyed it enormously and many of the thankyou letters we have received said what a superb band you were. All we need now is an excuse to ask you back again ! "

"THE BAND WERE EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD ,GREAT MUSICIANS,PLEASANT THROUGHOUT. THEY EVEN ADJUSTED THEIR TYPE OF DANCE TO ACCOMODATE THE MANY PEOPLE WITH LIMITED MOVEMENT DUE TO THEIR PARKINSONS. I THINK EVERYONE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD HAD A GREAT AFTERNOON. COULDN'T HAVE WISHED FOR BETTER. HOPE TO SEE THEM IN THE FUTURE"

"Excellent performance and service provided by RJ at our wedding. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance and worked well with our more relaxed guests for background music and the performance would have us recommend to all. We learned our first dance song and loved dancing to it. Can’t thank you enough for making the journey 10/10!"
