Thanks Sharon, it was great to see everyone up out of their seats and dancing to our music non stop. It was a great night for the band, we thoroughly enjoyed playing for such a receptive audience.

"Don't hesitate to hire these guys! They added such a great atmosphere to our wedding and everyone got up to dance. They are friendly, lovely guys and get back to you very quickly if you have questions. They arrived bang on time and set up without any fuss. The best!!!!"

"We are so glad we found John and the band and asked them to play at our wedding! They completely made the night at our tipi wedding reception in the forest and fitted into the laid back festival/party atmosphere just perfectly. John spoke to us on numerous occasions before our big day; the organisation seemed so easy and all went according to plan. They even caught some videos of everyone dancing the night away which have given us some great memories! Everyone has been talking about the band and how brilliant they were, a perfect mix of music with a bit of a difference! Thanks to John and the band for making our wedding so incredible "

"Lilac, Remko and all of the band are simply brilliant!! Wholeheartedly recommended! We hired Funk With Us to play at our wedding party. From the very first enquiry Lilac was super friendly, very considerate of what we wanted, flexible and always there to answer our questions and offer good suggestions on the song lists, set-up, etc. And the performance on the night was amazing!! High quality sound and musicianship, but more importantly the whole band did a fantastic job in creating a fun party vibe which got everyone dancing for hours. All of our guests commented for days afterwards how great they were! Thank you Funk With Us, you guys rock!!! ?"

"I booked Kellys Heroes to play at my 60th birthday party. You were amazing and everyone loved you. Everybody there was talking about how good you were, and they are still talking about it, even now. You were the main feature of the party which people remember! Of course, your excellent local reputation preceded you and that took some living up to - you did so admirably. I was worried that, with such a diverse group of guests, there would be awkward silences but Tony did a sterling job at getting people up on the dance floor and, once they started, they couldn’t stop. Quite a few of my friends commented that they forgot we were all hitting 60 and were dancing like young ‘uns. It says much for your music, though, that the real young ‘uns also joined in and it was a treat to see that younger Irish generation (because about 2/3 of the party were Irish) showing off their traditional dance skills to your music. Your song and tune selection was really excellent. Just the right balance, and lovely to have some songs which were favourites (Billy was completely made up with Carrickfergus) and others which were original compositions. Of course, the standard was – well – absolutely professional. It must be great to have such universal appeal. I can honestly say that your music hit the mark with both young and old; English and Irish – and even the small Greek contingent got up and learned a few dance moves! Your CD is being well-played on Corfu and in Athens now! I noticed a good few of the staff from the bar downstairs snuck in for a sneaky look too. You really made the evening for me and do, please, feel free to use this if you need a testimonial. Looking forward to seeing you soon at one of your gigs. With my very best wishes and thanks again. "Sounds with Us we’re absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! Everything was perfect, the lead up we had multiple chats and they got to know us, find out our music taste then the day was just brilliant. Lilac did a solo set which was wonderful and the band kept the dance floor going followed with Remko keeping the floor fillers with his awesome DJ skills. Would recommend them to anyone for any occasion! Thank you guys ?"

"What can I say? If you are a fan of Irish music, instrumental or with vocals then Dermot and the rest of the amazing musicians are who you need to hire! They were an absolute joy and a pleasure to have play at my beloved father's wake. They are such lovely and friendly people as well as fantastic musicians with a vast array of instrumentation between them. They graciously accepted requests prior to the event and also from some of the guests. My dad would have absolutely loved it and it made a very sad day very joyful and comforting for everyone. Our guests commented on how wonderful they were and the pub staff as well. I highly recommend hiring Dermot and the gang for any event, not just a wake. Communication was excellent before hand and hiring Dermot and the band were the easiest part of the many arrangements that we had to make when organising our dad's funeral and a wake. We sincerely thank you and highly recommend you, The O'Brien family."
