"We just wanted to say thank you to yourself and the band for being part of our big day. You were absolutely superb from start to finish and as you could probably tell from all the dancing, our guests absolutely loved all your music too! You got people up there dancing who I've never seen on a dance floor before. We've had nothing but compliments about what a great idea it was to have you perform at the wedding. "As 1st time attendees, we had a super fun time! The caller gave clear instructions and several of the club members (gentlemen in kilts) provided hands-on guidance. Music was great!!! Thanks for a memorable evening. "

"Iron Broo were fantastic! We had two members of Iron Broo play and call the dances at a small international event of tutors and students. There were around 20 of us and the band had such patience and provided us with so much fun. Everyone had a great time and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. I will use them again and again!"

"Having worked with Danny previously in the theatre, I contacted him knowing of his professionalism and talent as a vocalist and musician. What did take me by surprise was his attention to detail and preparation, as he crafted some beautiful cover-songs for our day, which really was special. His relaxed charm, soulful voice, and spirited guitar-play all were perfection. The Missus & I could not recommend Danny highly enough - thank you, Sir! David T x"

"Hi Fiddlestix, Thanks again for the wonderful ceilidh you and your band put on for us last Saturday. I have written a review for you to use below. Warm regards Julie Fiddlestix played a mix of English, Irish and Scottish music at our wedding breakfast in December. Both the musicians and the caller were excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ceilidh. Many of our guests took to the floor, some of whom had never participated in a dance before. When numbers dwindled at the end of the evening, the band switched to performing Elvis Presley songs which got some of our remaining guests up and dancing. People have told us how much they enjoyed the music. Thank you, Fiddlestix, for providing us with such fun. Julie"

"The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"We had our wedding reception some months after the wedding to allow for school holidays. People had braved some horrible Friday travel to get there, it was very hot ..... and then ........ the band started! The kids stopped playing and all wanted to dance, people of all ages got up and everyone had a smile on their faces. Blue Jewel simply made our evening. Steve, deputising as caller was exceptional creating such a rapport, remembering names and full of gentle banter! Oh and soooo patient with us all. We had ages from 6 to 85 on the floor having fun. We can't really praise Blue Jewel enough - except to give our heartfelt thanks! Book Them NOW don't miss out!!!"

"Blue Jewel played for our wedding and they gave us the perfect ending to an amazing day. They played a wide variety of songs and the instruction was clear and easy to follow, which meant that all of our guests were involved and had a really good time. The band were very professional and easy to deal and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you very much for helping to make the evening so special and enjoyable!"
