"We just wanted to email to thank the guys for being amazing on our wedding day! So many of our guests have commented saying how great they were and that they got the party started straight away. They loved that they could just request their own songs and everyone has said the atmosphere was nothing like they had seen before at a wedding that early on in the day. Even the staff at the house stopped us to say how good they were. They were exactly what we were after and we couldn't be happier. If you could pass on our thanks that would be amazing. Best wishes"

"The Shooglers were real stars at our wedding in Lochgoilhead in October. They performed a perfect mix of ceilidh and rock covers, sometimes in the same dance! It really had everyone up on the dance floor for most of the evening. Afterwards, everyone wanted to know where we'd got them from including the venue coordinator who sees bands every week. Most of all, they have a great sense of humour - they realise it's all about everyone having a great time. Thanks again guys, you were awesome. "

"I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"We had a ceilidh for a volunteer celebration. Even before the event Lilac was super helpful with suggestions of what timings would work well and how to encourage people to get involved. The band arrived in good time to set up and we’re really friendly. They were flexible on the night without us needing to intervene and got people dancing again after a break for speeches. The band also included those with less mobility and were great and encouraging everyone to get involved. We had the majority of people dancing throughout the event. I would totally recommend."

"Loved having them churn out the reels at a private party. (13th September 2025 Saturday Chesterton Road, Cambridge CB4) Couldn’t have been happier with our choice. I think they read the audience well and our (in) capabilities at following instruction, which meant that we did enough right to keep the dances going and cause enough confusion for fun and hilarity to shine through. "The band were wonderful at my party. Everyone loved the music and Kip was so patient explaining the steps. They were really flexible and tailored the whole evening to what we wanted. Lip was very reassuring prior to the party answering all my queries. I would highly recommend them and would love the same party every year!"

"Amazing set from a lovely duo. It was a surprise for my wife's 60th Birthday. They made her feel so special, singing and dancing with her. Ages from 25 to 75 all danced and sung the night away with a great variety of song choices. I would definitely book them again & recommend them to everyone, you won't regret it. Joanne has an amazing voice, she can sing everything and James is a great singing guitarist. We all loved it it and would like to thank them for a wonderful evening. "
