"A big, big thanks to you and It's No' Reel for coming to play at our wedding in Staffordshire - you guys were an immense success! Everything was seamless, from the correspondence before the wedding to the performance on the night. As we had guests from all over the world, only a handful were familiar with ceilidh dancing but thanks to your brilliant calling and great tunes you managed to get everyone up on the dance floor (even the least likely!) from our 8yr old Australian nephew to our parents and grandparents. We had such a wonderful time and the Strip the Willow finalé will go down as wedding legend amongst our friends! I would recommend you to anyone and everyone planning a party requiring top class entertainment that will be remembered. Thank you again, Lisa and Grafton"

"The Rampart Street Ramblers were excellent. Easy to deal with and flexible with plans, within the parameters of the booking. They had their own good suggestions (for example playing before dinner in the garden unamplified and then amplified in the marquee afterwards which worked very well.) They performed very professionally and their style was much appreciated by host and guests alike."

"A huge thankyou to Alistair and his fellow musicians who played at our party on Saturday. The music and combination of dances was perfect and we had many comments on your patience with our lack of prowess on the dance floor!  A great band makes the evening and you certainly did that for us. We all enjoyed it enormously and many of the thankyou letters we have received said what a superb band you were. All we need now is an excuse to ask you back again ! "

"I was captivated by Danny's music! We heard him sing in Congleton over a year ago, and felt immediately that he would be the perfect singer for the wedding. How right we were! He sang as she walked down the aisle.... beautiful. His choice of songs throughout the afternoon was absolutely spot on, as the guests made a point of telling me. Thank you, Danny, for your immeasurable contribution to our day. Perfect. "

"Well, we went along to the Clutha benefit gig in The Classic Grand, there were such a choice of great bands to choose from on 2 floors, The Mrs & myself were downstairs as it was mostly rock bands and we had a seat, so the bands changed again & again until I heard the next band was a Ceilidh band, quite a few were looking around sort of laughing as if how’s this gonna fit in with the night, so there's now quite a few people sitting down waiting, so on comes as expected the usual accordion,fiddle,drummer & guitarist set up, and then it began, the accordion started then in came the fiddle then this electric rock guitar and ass kicking rock drum beat, and low and behold before you know it everybody's on their feet standing poking their heads up and down to see who the hell was making this amazingly blended sound of rock & Scottish folk, the accordion player’s fingers were impossible to track as they rolled up and down the board, and the fiddle was just about glowing to match, topped off with a great guitar and drums, with bits of Pink Floyd through to Miley Cyrus flung in, hard to believe but true, and all served up for your ears to savour at 100 mph, the whole place became electric, it was amazing to listen to and stunning to watch, I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this band, We got talking to David (the accordion player) and his family afterwards and found him such a laugh & such a nice family, highlight of the night, so thanks to The Shooglers your time & talent is very well spent and it shows, cheers. "

"We hired the band for our business birthday party which we turned into a mini festival. The band turned up early and were perfect gentlemen even though we were running behind schedule. When the band finally managed to do their thing we were blown away and everyone was up and boogying away! We will be definitely hiring them for next years party! "
