"What an amazing evening of live ceilidh music. The group were a hit with people of all ages and everyone in the room was up dancing! We have had wonderful comments about the music and the superb calling. I have even had a request for the details so a birthday party can be booked in plenty of time! A huge thank you for reading the room and providing an awesome service!"

"I finally went along to see G Celtic Folk Rock Band when they played at the Old Printworks in Wakefield, close to where I live. I've known Chris for over thirty years. Knew he played fiddle in several different bands over the years and decided it was high time I made the effort! I wasn't disappointed. I was expecting straight Irish folk music but they have a blend of rock, folk, Irish, Yorkshire ballads. Great music, very tight sound with a nod and a wink to traditional Irish and not so traditional ballads. Great musicians who play well together. I intended staying for a couple of pints but stayed the entire evening. Great show boys! See you next time!"

"Dear Fiddlestix, A huge thank you to the band for providing such an amazing, unforgettable ceilidh for our wedding celebrations at the Telegraph in Putney. We were blown away by the absolutely fabulous music and, to Sarah, a special thank you for your expertise and patience with all our family and friends. Everyone, be they young or old, shy or willing, natural dancers or rhythmically challenged, had an absolute ball and we've had loads of feedback from guests saying it was the highpoint of the evening. "Blue Jewel were absolutely excellent at our village hall Ceilidh. Fabulous musicians, great performance and huge enthusiasm. 100 people of all ages were on the dance floor revelling in the wonderful entertainment they provided. They were also highly organised which ensured the event went very smoothly. Highly recommend Kip and Blue Jewel for your social event!"

"We booked The Good Rebels for our wedding on the 16th July. This was by far the best decision we made. The band were always in contact with us, allowing us to make suggestions of songs (even performing the brides favorite Peter Andre song). We also got a chance to see the band perform before hand which was great. The band created such a fun atmosphere at our wedding and the song choice's got all our wedding party up on their feet! All our wedding guests commented at how good the band were and we could not recommend them enough!! We wish we could relive the day to have our party again with them!"

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were fantastic! From first point of contact by email, we found them to be helpful, flexible and professional. And then on the night they were all these things again and brilliant musicians with an excellent caller in Kip. He was so patient and fun. What we particularly appreciated was that Kip encouraged people to join in but didn't harangue or hassle anyone. He showed people what to do and ribbed some of the larger than life characters, which all added to the friendly warmth of the occasion. For anyone who isn't sure about having a ceilidh at a wedding, we would recommend this band as a brilliant introduction. My husband wasn't sure because he didn't want to feel forced to dance as he only usually does this when he's had several pints of beer. But we found Blue Jewel to be really encouraging, without being pushy and everyone joined in. It's really inclusive and a way of getting all ages up and dancing together. We were so pleased because our teenagers loved it too and no-one worried about being 'cool'. It's a very natural and traditional way of letting your hair down, mixing with everyone and having a good laugh. We would highly recommend this band."

"Excellent acoustic music, perfectly suitable for the small venue we hired. (They also have amplifiers for bigger venues) They played a good variety and took also special requests. Will hire them again, if an other occassion arises."

"Joanne sang at our wedding reception... with me on guitar. It was a surprise for my wife, and involved much "secret" practice during the preceding weeks! Jo was incredibly accommodating and patient. Her voice is something special, and really brought a new dimension to the songs we played. My new wife, and our families, were blown away. A perfect performance... highly recommended!"
