"I saw Unwritten Duo locally supporting Alfie Boe, they stepped in at the last minute when the original support was unable to perform. They were excellent, beautiful vocals and brilliant guitar, they were a lovely bonus for the evening! I am now looking out for more local performances."

"We had a brilliant evening with the Blue Jewel band. The whole evening ran very smoothly and a great time was had by all. I was really pleased with the bands rendition of 'You've got a friend' by James Taylor! We would heartily recommend the band for a stress-free evening. Thanks again to the band."

"No one talks about our wedding without mentioning the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. These talented musicians provided the perfect end to the perfect day. Somehow everyone, even the shyest of our guests, got up and danced the night away with the infectious enthusiasm of the band. The ceilidh provided a relaxed, fun way for all of our guests to mix and meet one another, and allowed us to dance with everyone! Both myself and my husband adore folk music, and we could not have chosen a friendlier, more talented band than the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. A particular highlight was when the band performed a traditional wedding piece, where all of our guests danced around us who were sat in the middle! I cannot recommend this band enough, wonderfully warm people with superb talent. Obviously we were on a budget paying for a whole wedding, but these guys are very reasonably priced and deliver much more than the price we paid. Thank you all very, very much for giving us the wedding reception we dreamed of."

"Sound with Us were brilliant. Every part of the process from booking the band, sorting playlists and explaining how the night would run was done effortlessly and made me feel confident that they would look after us and put on a good show. The night went seamlessly and they performed beyond expectation. The girls had the best night and everyone loved the line dancing/barn dance. The DJ was great - no one noticed him setting up and the transition from band to DJ was perfect. A lovely team to have on the night. Thank you so much for making it a truly successful memorable party."

"Stuart, thank you for a sterling evening on Saturday - everyone had a great time as was witnessed by the amount of dancing (despite the age of some of the participants.  Thank you very much for supporting us and doing the Address to the Haggis as well as the Selkirk Grace - it is very much appreciated (especially as you have such a passionate delivery of the words).  Thanks go to Jill as well as she is the perfect caller for a group like ours where many are novices and the rest of us forget the steps from one year to the next. "I booked the It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at a Burns event I was hosting in Scotland for an international group of friends, mostly based in Germany. The band quickly gauged the experience of the group and provided a selection of music that ensured everyone enjoy themselves dancing. The dance floor was always packed despite it being most of the guests' first ceilidh. On the practical side they also turned up on time, set up and packed up quickly and without fuss, and coped with our frequent schedule changes on the night with a smile. I would strongly recommend them"
