"Mark played at our party in Wiltshire on August bank holiday Sunday afternoon. He was an absolute success. He arrived, he tuned up and he got on with it in an easy going and charming way. Everyone danced, everyone sang and EVERYONE shouted for more. I'd have no problem recommending Mark highly he really did make the party special. We would have him again anytime."

"I book Paddy for a number of pubs in Glasgow and he always gives a great performance. He has fantastic vocals, exceptional guitar skills and always works with the crowd picking the songs they want. He is happy to play requests if he can and has been known to give great renditions of songs he has never done before on the spot."

"Kellys Heroes, I cannot thank you enough for the most fantastic night I think I might have had in all my fifty years! I have not stopped smiling since. A dream come true for me to have Kellys playing in my garden and as the song goes- You couldn't have come at a better time!!"

"We had a really great evening. The musicians were very friendly and accommodating. When some of our guests were late arriving because of the dreaded road closure and subsequent diversions, they adapted their sets to suit our timings and many non-dancers were encouraged to get up and shake a leg. Everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves and we would certainly recommend and use them again."

"Absolute played at our wedding on 12.04.19 @ Ufton Court and were amazing! The acoustic duo in the afternoon set the perfect atmosphere for our reception drinks. The rest of the band joined us in the evening and the dance floor was packed all night long. We have had so many great comments from our guests about how brilliant the band were. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Hatty’s Wedding – September 2025 Such a wonderful band, and would definitely have them again. Everyone enjoyed the dancing even if they were just watching. Even my husband who never dances joined in and is now a ceilidh addict. 10/10! Highly recommend!"

"The following is not made up.... but a reflection of the evening! Thank you very much for providing us with fantastic entertainment for our après-ski party! From us being very unhelpful in saying 'we like anything!' you correctly gauged what music we really liked and provided us with superb 90s indie rock music which took us far away from the 40th celebration and back to the 'good old party days'! You also added in some classics which had everyone up on the dance floor. Many people commented to me during the evening, and since, about how brilliant the music was and I am sure you will be getting some requests from them too. Some couldn't believe it was just you and thought we had an entire band up at the front! I only wish we could repeat the party again - we loved it and the music was integral to our party's success. Thank you so much, James and Trish, Chris and Vicki "

"Hired these guys for a 50th Birthday Party because we liked the videos. They certainly didn't disappoint! Great humour and sound. Graham is exceptional on the guitar and Kelly's voice gave goosebumps. We will definitely be using them again."

"The absolute best group you could ever have at your wedding. Lilac and Remko are musical masterminds and they helped our wedding be the biggest party in town. You have to book them! Lilac and Remko rock! Absolutely one of the highlights of our day was seeing a kick-ass 8 piece get the whole room dancing to our Motown-inspired playlist. They helped with curation to ensure we picked the right floor-fillers and chucked in a couple of modern classics and a vocal cameo from one of our guests in, too. We really can't recommend them enough. Everything was smooth and our day was honestly even better because of them."
