"Blue Jewel were fantastic fun and got everyone on their feet dancing. A friendly band who were a pleasure to have join us- we had to move the furniture out the way as so many people were dancing! Thank you so much for a fantastic time, would highly recommend! "

"Blue Jewel were the best band for my daughter's wedding. They were easy to liaise with ahead of time, and their performance in the evening ceilidh was just what we hoped for. Good music, a lovely relaxed manner from all performers, and patient teaching of the dances to the guests. Our guests did not want them to stop! We would whole-heartedly recommend them for such an occasion. Thank you!"

"Thank you, it was all brilliant. Every single person enjoyed it immensely. Great band, good communication before the event and a really good caller (Ollie Simons - Ceilidh Caller). Fitted in with the plans for background music as well as dancing. Definitely recommend."

"Thank you for your lovely performance, the evening was great!!! You were right, the wind & cold brought everyone into the barn to dance, chat & listen to your music!! Compliments from everyone, they loved your music, commented on how good it was to hear a really good live band! The sound was excellent, the caller was approachable, friendly & encouraging. "I can not recommend The New Fox Band enough. They had everyone dancing (from kids to our generation at end twenties to our parents) within 1 minute at our wedding and it was a fantastic atmosphere. They were brilliant at explaining the dances to the novices (incuding all the guests from outside the UK who'd never danced a Ceilidh before) so that all our guests had a really fun time. Communication was fantastic and they were really flexible with setting up and sound checking to fit in with the rest of the evening."

"Please pass on my thanks and huge congratulations to the Black Velvet Band for making the evening one to remember! The members of the band were very friendly and excellent at leading the crowds all of various ages! It was a night to remember for all the right reasons and I have not smiled so much since my wedding day! The Swiss roll formation is genius and the children (and adults) are still wondering how it worked! We will most definitely be booking them again!"

"Lilac and the band were amazing from start to finish after we booked them for our wedding. Lilac was incredibly helpful in the planning process and nothing was too much trouble. She helped us organise our evening reception (of which I am forever grateful as neither of us had a clue!) and the band even learned our first dance song. They really got the party started, asking for crowd participation, and the line dancing lesson went down a storm. Every guest I spoke to said how amazing they were and how much fun they had dancing along. If your struggling finding a band, I can’t recommend them enough! We chose barn with us as we are big country music fans but they have so many different genres you can choose from!"

"This is the 3rd year running that we've been lucky enough to have the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band play for our charity's annual barn dance. I cannot rate them highly enough - from great communication before the event to fabulous music on the day, they are first class. We're already looking forward to our 4th one next year!"
