"What a fantastic band! The booking process was easy and seamless, communication was great, and the band created a brilliant atmosphere at our joint 40th/60th family birthday party. Our very experienced caller got all the guests on the dance floor - with ages from 3 to 83, and a number of guests with wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility needs, that was no mean feat! We had a wonderful evening, and made some brilliant memories that will last a lifetime. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much to the band for making our special evening such a success!"

"Great choice of material. Mat Walklate’s harmonica playing is astoundingly proficient throughout and Matt Fahey’s vocal take on My Bonny Boy Is Young is a stand out track. It gets my vote for album of the year."

"First and foremost Stargazers are fantastic musicians, the standard was absolutely amazing. Much more than just a function band. Secondly, the repertoire was perfect for a wedding, catered for young and old and got everyone up dancing (despite it being glorious weather outside). Very contemporary but doing the retro songs more than justice at the same time. Lastly, every one of them is really friendly and the whole experience of booking them, communicating before the event and spending time with them on the day was an absolute pleasure. Cannot recommend highly enough!"

"I cannot thank you enough for you and your band at my mums birthday party, it really was the best night we have had in ages. The effort by all of you far exceeded any expectation I had, never lone anyone else in the room. You didn’t just provide a band for the night, you all provided the entertainment, fun factor, the laughing (the workout!) and provided exactly and way more then I ever expected. The music was wonderful, jolly, filled gaps , catered to everyone’s ears from ages 2 - 80+ years! You made it easy to follow the dance steps and fun for absolutely everyone, whether they were dancing or just listening to the music. I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone or use you all again in a heartbeat. So thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for providing one element that made the whole night. "Craig and I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the rest of the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. The ceilidh went better than we could have hoped for and we have had so many comments from our family and friends saying how much they enjoyed it! We really appreciated all the patient instructions, (especially as most of us weren't familiar with the dances!) and thank you for accommodating all of our guests so everyone could join in. We also realise that our timings for the evening went a bit awry as the meal went on longer than planned, so we are really grateful to you for being so flexible and playing until later than planned.  The ceilidh really was the perfect end to our wedding day so thank you for making it such a success! "

"We booked It's No' Reel for our wedding at Balbirnie House in June 2015. We decided on them because of how good they sounded on their YouTube clips (their Game of Thrones theme was a real head turner!), the fact they didn't have a piper or an accordion (which we wanted to avoid) and their price. Tom who deals with the bookings was very professional and keen to tailor the evening to our needs. The minimum is a three piece with the option of adding other pieces as you like. We opted for a second violin as we thought the two violins together sounded awesome! The band offer ceilidh for as much of the night as you want, and after that they are happy to hook up their computer to the PA system and play a DJ set. We liked having the option in case our guests weren't feeling the ceilidh. As it was, we were having such a great time that we ceilidh-ed all night! It was an amazing night, made by the quality playing. Let's also not forget the quality calling so all the guests knew what they were doing! We have had so many compliments about the band's playing since the wedding. Thanks so much to you guys. Just great musicians who put the reel into our reception!"

"The music was really lovely" Thank you so much for playing at our wedding (9th September 2023* Saturday Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 1BD}.The music was really lovely and it's a testament to how great it was that so many people were dancing on such a hot day! "We booked this amazing band for a big birthday party in August. Their versatility and musical ability enabled all the guests to experience a variety of music including rock, soul and old and new styles. They arranged covers to suit the occasion and had everybody singing along, dancing and really enjoying themselves. They played background music at first so that people could chat and moved onto more lively numbers as the evening went on. Andy has a beautiful voice! I would highly recommend this talented group of musicians for any event. You will be enthralled and entertained and certainly not disappointed!"
