"What a magical time we had! Vicky and the Devon Strings were a treat to listen to and a treat to interact with. We had a wonderful gathering of people to celebrate the retirement of a very dear friend, and many of the people there were knowledgeable about music. The Devon String quartet fulfilled all of our expectations and beyond. What a delight to hear such professional and sensitive playing, performed with such kind hearts and obvious joy. Thank you so much Devon Strings for a splendid evening that was made so very memorable by your presence and delightful music across a broad and beautiful repertoire!"

"We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help with our wedding on 27th June at Lake Vyrnwy. It went really well. We had a lot of compliments about the string quartet! We were slightly worried beforehand as we hadn't met the DJ or the string quartet or the ceilidh band before and so we were not familiar with their work, but we were really pleased we had hired them all. They all did a fantastic job and new exactly how to please our crowd. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and we believe it was largely down to the great entertainment. Please pass on our gratitude to all the performers. Looking forward to hiring you again at any future events as well as recommending you to others! Once again, thanks for all your hard work! "We've booked Vaska ensemble for a recording session. I could not recommend them more, as the musicians were incredibly professional, friendly and super easy to work with. We all had a great time working together and got through the session very efficiently. Again - highly recommend! "

"Dear Anne, Just wanted to say thank you for the music at our Golden wedding/birthday party on board the Sabrina on 10th July. Your choice of music was very good with something for everybody. I’m sorry you had to play in such cramped conditions, but it was lovely to have you there - really lifted the spirits. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and thankfully the weather was kind to us and didn’t rain until it was time to go home. thanks once again, We did enjoy it, and courtesy of the recording made by my youngest grandson, can listen again to your lovely playing of Elgar's "salut d'amour' any time we like - the sound is good on the recording, though the picture leaves something to be desired. "I was so glad to book the quartet. They were accommodating, professional and played at a very high standard. In spite of it being 'flaming June', the weather was cold and wet so performing outside was something of a challenge! My guests would have remained listening for a further two hours if they had the chance. The performance turned a pleasant birthday lunch party into an extraordinary one, thank you."
