Review Centre: String Quartets

"I was at a wonderful party at the Queens House Greenwich which VS played at in early March this year ( 2012.). Their sound is wonderful and ensemble really crisp and full of Brio. The cello in particular had a rich Tortelier like timbre . They also look as if they are really having fun which avoids the whole show looking too serious. Their Bizet was also full of zippy energy."

"Dear Anne and Orchestra, I just wanted to say an enormous thanks for of your hard work, skill and artistry in bringing the Dvorak to life on Saturday. It felt like orchestra, choir and soloists really performed as one. I do realise the amount of effort and pressure you are under on a concert day, often coming together for the first time to play the piece in the afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you. "The string quartet, played at my wedding sept 2021 and we’re fantastic. Since the day we booked them, Sean was very helpful and good with replying. They have a good selection of songs to choose from, from modern to classic. They were able to play my desired song choice for walking down the aisle and played it so beautifully and so well. Our guests enjoyed listening to them play. "

"EM Strings were absolutely amazing and provided the most beautiful live music for our summer garden party this August. Each member of the ensemble was so talented and also so lovely to interact with. They have such an extensive repertoire of songs that we were treated to, hit after hit. We would highly recommend them and will 100% be booking them for our future events. "

"This string quartet made our wedding extra special, with clear communication from the very start we managed to select our favourite songs for our wedding day from an extensive list. The violinist sounded exceptional for our ceremony and the string quartet received many compliments from our guests. With us being in and out of the drinks reception doing formal photos when we finally managed to go and speak to the quartet they kindly offered to play my favourite song. Me and my husband had a lovely dance and we will treasure this memory forever! Best decision we made to book these talented musicians for our wedding. Thanks again eternally grateful Mr & Mrs Brooks"
