"Many thanks to The Rib Ticklers for helping us raise money at our charity event for The Injured Jockeys Fund. They were brilliant and kept a wide age range of people on their feet all night. Couldn't have asked for better. Great people to deal with, looking forward to next time.Would thoroughly recommend."

"Hello Absolute! We just wanted to say thanks to the band for performing at our wedding recently. We had seen you before so knew that you were a great band and our guests seemed very impressed. The rendition of our first dance song (You are the Best Thing by Ray Lamontagne) was perfect, so thank you very much for that! We hope the evening went smoothly for you, and thanks for allowing my friend to take the mic to sing some swing numbers (though it's hard to stop him). Thanks once again. "The following is not made up.... but a reflection of the evening! Thank you very much for providing us with fantastic entertainment for our après-ski party! From us being very unhelpful in saying 'we like anything!' you correctly gauged what music we really liked and provided us with superb 90s indie rock music which took us far away from the 40th celebration and back to the 'good old party days'! You also added in some classics which had everyone up on the dance floor. Many people commented to me during the evening, and since, about how brilliant the music was and I am sure you will be getting some requests from them too. Some couldn't believe it was just you and thought we had an entire band up at the front! I only wish we could repeat the party again - we loved it and the music was integral to our party's success. Thank you so much, James and Trish, Chris and Vicki "

"We hired the Captain's Beard last year and they got the whole boatload of us up and on our feet jigging our hearts out. You'll be surprised how many nautical ballads you know the words to once they get into full swing. Why are the Captain's Beard so great? Because they arrrRRRRRR! "

"Yes, she does indeed sing. We had a fabulous night with Ruby. So lovely to see her again. Ruby has a blow your socks off voice and sang songs from all years. Many thanks to Paul for the sound too. It was Dave’s birthday tonight and Ruby made it really special for him. Lots of folks up dancing and great audience interaction. Everyone had a blast, so thank you, both, and see soon."

"The Blaggers played at our wedding recently in Lichfield, they had travelled up from London especially. We were really impressed with their set and talent. I would highly recommend for an occasion. All our guests commented on how fantastic they sounded. So happy we booked them."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Hugo and Sophie’s Wedding – February 2026 Thank you so much for performing at Croydon Hall for our very special Valentine’s Day Wedding. As soon as the guests heard the band start playing the dance floor was full with very keen participants.
