"Had a great time with the band at our wedding, there was a great mix throughout and all the guests found something they liked in the music including the Irish parts added. Asked for the 6 piece band as well with male and female vocals which added variation and fiddle players provide that little extra. Thanks Steve, Geoff and the team ! "We had absolute play our recent wedding at Northbrook Park and they were incredible! The dance floor was full from start to finish, with the band bringing so much energy to the evening. We requested a number of songs from their repertoire, which they played all of, and we left the remaining time for them to play what worked with the crowd on the night - We had an Irish twist to our wedding, and the band were the perfect group who delivered brilliantly! We had multiple guests asking who the band were and complimenting them for really making the evening what it was. We had an amazing day, and a brilliant evening, helped made possible by Absolute. "Hi Dermot Just to thank you for your and the band's entertainment gig at our daughters's recent wedding. It was obvious that each band member was a professional both in proficency of instrument and presentation of the music. I was also impressed with the mix of old classical Irish (re O'Carolan) and the more recent lively musical pieces. Indeed, the songs also exhibited this diversity with noted classics and singalong standards. It was assuring when the band arrived with ample time for set-up and ready to play on cue. Thanks again. "Speechless - and that's not like me. The band were fantastic - they are the best of the best, on a par with The Dubliners. Absolutely made our evening, this will be the first band we look to for all our future events without a doubt. The Caller was great fun, all of them were a compliment to each other. "Booked Bry the singer/guitarist and Emma on violin for my 50th in Holywood. Thanks so much again for your amazing set on my birthday, everybody loved it and you hit the tone completely spot on (even with a little sprinkling of “my Tiffany” in the mix!!!) I already had a group of 80 something people on the WhatsApp for the party, and have left all your details for them to reach out for any other parties / celebrations in the future. "

"Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Bry had also arranged a violinist to accompany him during our ceremony. We had a special (Brazilian) song request for the ceremony which was performed so beautifully and it was no issue for Bry to learn it for us. Thanks a million for that and for all the other song requests too. Nothing seemed a bother and it was a pleasure working with you. The band and DJ were so professional and got the crowd going for the night do. Everyone was buzzing and we got so many compliments about the music. Unreal! 100% recommend. "

"Thought I would stay and listen to the band for a few songs after the match, and ended up staying way passed my bedtime. Great selection of music, very entertaining and great to see so many people dancing. "

"Mark was excellent and I would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone looking to add a bit of live music to their party. Despite stepping in at the last moment (we only booked him the day before when our previous band pulled out), he communicated well, arrived promptly and set up with minimal fuss. He was very flexible regarding timings and judged his setlist and the crowd perfectly with some laid back numbers to start with and some more upbeat songs in the later sets. All this despite constantly being pestered by children to let them sing or to play their favourite song! We would happily book him again in an instant."

"The most amazing band we could have ever wished to play at our wedding! Their set list and variety was amazing and as well as being so talented they were so easy to work with. Everyone was on the dance floor from start to finish we couldn’t recommend them enough! Would 100% book again!"

"We booked Jamie for our small wedding of 30 initially to break our day/evening up and honestly did not contemplate the effect this would have on our wedding! We really could not have asked for anything more from Jamie! He was fantastic, he really got the crowd going and although we had a small wedding, you wouldn't have known, every single person in the room was up, dancing and singing. It was a complete game changer and every single person at our wedding has mentioned how amazing Jamie was. Given all the restrictions with COVID, it really would have been a completely different wedding, not for the better, had we chosen any other artist or not had one at all and we really cannot thank Jamie enough for the part he played in our day! We would recommend him 1000 times over!"
