"Now that Zish and I are back from our honeymoon we wanted to say "Thankyou" yet again for the fantastic job you did on our wedding night. Zish and I both really enjoyed it, and loads of people have complemented us on our choice - you did a great job of getting people onto the dance floor. Even people who asked me if I was mad having a ceilidh turned around and told me how glad they were to have been proved wrong, and I know about 2 of the Irish guys surprised everyone by getting up to dance when normally they say "Over my dead body"! Some of Zish's colleagues suggested making ceilidh dancing a regular team event!"

"We are so grateful to Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for making our fundraising ceilidh a great success with delightful music and dancing. The level of challenge of the dances was pitched just right to tempt our guests (who were aged from 4 to 84) to have a go – and they all came away with big smiles on their faces! Phil – the band’s friendly caller – gave just the right amount of instruction and then a quick recap before each dance and was happy to adapt dances to suit some of the children. Arrangements and payment were all handled professionally and efficiently. Thank you so much for helping us raise over £300 for our cause!"

"I am writing to thank you so much for providing the amazing band, Funk With Us to perform at our Chamber Awards Thursday 18th November at Westenhanger Castle. The dance floor was full from the start of the band playing to the very last number with shouts of ‘more’ from the audience after the last one was played. Funk With Us added another level to our most successful Awards evening yet and we have had so many compliments from the guests. Every member of the band was brilliant from the 2 singers who invited the dancers to sing with them on vocals, the saxophonist mingling and the solo guitar performance, drums, bass and keys. "Jamie was absolute fantastic. My wife and I wrote a very short brief about our song choices and he delivered them brilliantly. Our guests absolutely loved him and he had the dance floor packed on only his 2nd track. It was not only the quality of his voice and wide range of songs but his he added his own very cool twist to some classic tracks. I can’t recommend Jamie highly enough for his professionalism and quality, he definitely added such a positive vibe to the day and was definitely one of our highlights"

"Dear Helen, David and I don't know how to thank you and your colleagues enough for your absolutely brilliant contribution to our wedding reception. Everyone was raving about how great you were, and I can't count how many times I said, in response to how I found you; "The best ever result of days of google searching" I think that I told you this before, but I listened to so many clips of bands, and it took me about 30 seconds of listening to you to know that you were the right people for the wedding of two musicians, whose guest list was chock full of musicians! I have an absolutely hilarious video of my 7 year old niece going crazy to your music, which I would be happy to send along if you would like. She is officially your biggest fan, and loudly declared that evening "That music makes this the BEST WEDDING EVER!!!" Please could you pass along our admiration and gratitude to the rest of the band? "The band played at my restaurant for a friends 40th birthday last weekend. None of us had seen them before and we were all blown away by how good they were ! Lilac who sang lead has a beautiful voice and the whole party were on their feet the entire evening … i would definitely use them again and im recommending them to my customers who book events at our place and want a fantastic band !! Thank you so much for making the evening so special xx"
