" Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio performed at our Wedding reception. The music was fantastic and Alan the caller talked our guests through the dances with patience and wit. Our guests included some serious Scottish dancing enthusiasts together with a lot of enthusiastic amateurs, complete beginners and no hopers - all of whom had an absolute blast! We would highly recommend the band and a couple of our guests made enquiries about booking them for upcoming events, which speaks for itself. Thank you for providing us with fantastic memories filled with joy and laughter. "

"Wow, what an absolute pleasure to have Jamie perform at our wedding. He informed us of heavy traffic that he was in (still made it on time) set us with out fuss and in good time - the discretion was perfect, making it seamless. Jamie was keen to make sure we were happy with volume, song choice and was just all in all, a top lad. I’m very grateful to Jamie for his compassion during an unfortunate incident involving an elderly person having a fall. Jamie made sure he provided a service we wanted and was happy to cease playing early - at our request. I’d hire Jamie again in a heartbeat, everything was perfect before you even hear his amazing musical performance. I’m keen to see him perform again."

"Kelly's Heroes were booked to play at my father in law's wake. We wanted a celebration of this man's life and wow did we get one. The Wake was more than we ever hoped for and that was very much due to the wonderful music and energy Helen, Tony , Steve and Patrick brought to the day. I can't speak more highly of you all. It was perfect. Thank you so much. Thank you again so much you are strangers that are now part of our collective memory of Micky's send off. Priceless! Cannot recommend highly enough!!"

"For our school's 60th celebration picnic we wanted live music to create a good atmosphere for both the children and parents. Mark had kids, teachers, mums and dads all singing along and dancing. He is excellent at reading a crowd and adjusting the music to suit the event. He is a great singer and performer and I can really recommend him for any event. Thank you Mark for adding so much to our day. We had loads of complements after and everybody loved him."

Everyone enjoyed the music - it was perfectly gauged to the party and Mark was very easy to work with. All our guests commented on what an amazing talent he is. It couldn't have been any better - even the freezing cold evening didn't stop us as Mark moved into the games room and the dancing really began in earnest. He really made our celebration complete, the guests thoroughly enjoyed his performance and we really appreciated him being here. We can’t thank Huw enough for his wonderful contribution to our special day. He worked incredibly hard, way beyond the call of duty, and even found time for some of our guests who were keen to chat to him after his performance.
