"We welcomed Black Velvet Band Irish Duo for our St Patrick's Day celebration and the club was packed. We were thoroughly entertained from start to finish! We loved the music and we danced to all the well-known old Irish songs. Thank you and we hope to host you again!"

"We were so pleased with Rose Cafe's performance at our wedding. They were very easy to communicate with leading up to the day, and enthusiastic about getting things just right. All of our guests were commenting on how great the music was! Highly recommend booking them."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Katherine’s 50th Birthday Ceilidh – April 2025 I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend."

"Jamie was brilliant, he really got the party started and everyone loved him so much we extended him on the night for an additional half hour for an extra fee because nobody wanted him to finish. Would highly recommend. Thanks Jamie"

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a Birthday Party with a mixed age group of family and friends. They were great with a special mention to Jennie (the caller) who really worked hard getting us to do the different dances. Everyone really enjoyed the dances and had a lot of fun! I mustn’t forget Jon and Mike who provided the music. I can’t say enough good things about them – just to say that if you book them you will have a great time!"

" Black Velvet Band Irish Duo came to play at the Christmas Party for our CrossFit Gym held in the farmhouse on the site; they were easy and helpful to deal with from the start; everything clear and simple to follow. The performance was perfect for the occasion and Mike and his colleague were easy going and a pleasure to have around. They spent time with a guest who wanted to learn how to play one of the instruments and were great for getting people up and dancing. Thoroughly recommend the Irish Duo! "

"These guys are absolutely fantastic! They had the dance floor filled and all of our guests loved them. The whole booking and pre event process was professional, smooth, well run but with a lovely personal feel. Well let me tell you , Kelly and graham from the offset , great communication , happy to offer suggestions , learned new material especially for us . Prompt professional and out of this world . "My legs are still aching because I danced so much! The band arrived on time and were very friendly and helpful and the music was delightful. It was a mixed crowd, many of whom had never met each other before but with one thing in common – they had never done ceilidh dancing before! The caller was absolutely brilliant – it didn’t matter that most people had no idea how to dance the reels! Everyone joined in and thoroughly enjoyed themselves."
