"We were absolutely delighted with Astri Strings (Victoria & Jude), who played at our wedding. From the very start, communication with them was so easy and stress-free — they were professional, warm, and accommodating to every request. Their repertoire is incredible, covering everything from classical and jazz through to modern-day hits. One particularly special touch was when they learnt and performed the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, even though it wasn’t on their list. That meant the world to me, and it was played so beautifully. They performed seamlessly as our guests arrived, throughout the ceremony, and into the drinks reception, creating a lovely atmosphere from start to finish. So many of our family and friends commented on how stunning the music was, and we couldn’t agree more! We would 100% recommend Astri Strings to anyone planning a wedding or any other celebration. "These two young musicians are absolutely fantastic in every respect. They played at our daughter's wedding for hour after hour and must have been exhausted by the end of the evening! Nothing was too much trouble, they arranged a beautiful version of the happy couple's favourite song and everything they played sounded so good. A lovely couple and fantastic musicians too. Brilliant."

From the start when we first made contact, you made it easy to communicate with and the information you asked for certainly helped to make your part in the day seamless and smooth. You were punctual and professional. We hardly noticed you slip in and out of the room during your break times and at the end of the function. "Dahlia were brilliant at our garden party and it was thrilling to hear so many favourite tunes played live. A real star turn. Everyone said how much they enjoyed it. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who had one ear on the conversation I was in and another ear on the music, floating away on it. I look forward to the next event in order to book again!"

"Communication with Ebor and Conor in particular has been fantastic in the build up to the wedding. What a fantastic team of talented musicians!! Both me and Rob want to say a BIG thank you to the team for being there on Saturday. It was absolutely beautiful and definitely made the atmosphere in the church (lots of tears were had!!) lots of our guests said how beautiful it was. We even had compliments from local villagers too who heard the music at the village hall which was lovely!! Thank you for being so accommodating and flexible with the set lists and we hope to see you at future gigs/events… I’ve asked for tickets for my birthday later in the year!! Thank you again!!"

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the music you provided for our ceremony yesterday it was absolutely perfect. I loved the Aerosmith and Blink 182 pieces and hearing how good the Pachelbel piece sounded before I walked down the aisle gave me an overwhelming feeling of excitement and confidence as it was just how I had hoped it would be. "Modern Strings played at the marriage ceremony of our wedding. They had excellent and lovely suggestions for the music to be played, and were more than happy to play music of our choice. Total professionals who didn't give us a moment of worry, these team know their stuff. Ask them for suggestions on how your music choices can fit with timing on the day! Would definitely use again. "
