"What can we even say? How fabulous was last night! You guys were amazing and we had such a great time. We’ve had fabulous feedback and everyone wants to know when we are having another Hoedown (for which we will of course book you guys again). You were all fabulous. Such talented musicians and a real sense of good fun! Thank you so much for playing our requests and also to the caller who made the dances brilliant – we all had so much fun! "We can't thank Juniper enough for doing such a fab Ceilidh for our wedding! Everything from start to finish was so professional and smooth. The band liaised with other musicians from the day re equipment and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The music was just fabulous - incredible players, amazing sound, lively and fun vibe and the band were so relaxed and are clearly very talented individuals and very well rehearsed. The caller was brilliant and had all our guests up and dancing immediately. They were very good at explaining the more complicated dances and held the room very well. Our guests had such a lovely time and all commented how amazing the band was and how much fun they had. The Ceilidh really made our wedding special and we would most definitely book the band again."

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day. "

"My family have been following this band for over 20 years now. From the toe tapping faster tunes to the haunting ballads, I cannot rate this band highly enough. Everyone in the audience appears to be having a fantastic night with many people dancing. The band are very professional and friendly and seem to attract an audience that follows them all over the country year after year. Recently, they very kindly played for my mother in her own home ,when she was terminally ill. It proved a very memorable and moving day for her friends and family. I will always be grateful to them for this. My rating for this band is 100 out of 10!!!"

"We had such good feedback about your performance! Everyone that came had a great time and that's definitely down to the superb music and also the very well-explained and inclusive calling. I honestly would not have believed that the majority of people dancing were new to ceilidh dancing from watching them, they all took to it really fast. We'd love it if you'd like to play again as the band was definitely the key to the success of the night."

"I booked The Haystacks Band for my 50th Birthday Party as I wanted live music that would get everyone dancing! Rachel and her band did not disappoint and we had an amazing evening; I cannot recommend them highly enough! They helped create a great atmosphere and were genuinely lovely people to have at the party. I had taken a bit of a risk in booking the band without seeing them perform but I needn't have worried! From the first contact I had with Rachel, through to evening itself, I had every confidence that they were going to be as good as I'd hoped. The Haystacks Band play fun, upbeat music with passion and an unassuming enthusiasm. Everyone at my party has been telling me how much they enjoyed the band and they definitely made it a 50th to remember. Lovely people and fab musicians who were a fabulous find online!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Angela’a Son’s Wedding – August 2025 Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio were brilliant at our son’s wedding. They arrived promptly, set up without any fuss, played two brilliant sets , were very generous with their time and got everyone dancing. Mike called the dances clearly and gave people chance to have a quick practice. Mike encouraged everyone and the dance floor never emptied. The band really helped make the wedding very special."

"For a small band Rastrum packs a big punch. We asked them to play in the evening at our first 'All Staff' event, as someone had suggested a ceilidh could be a good way to get everyone together. It certainly worked and, although dancers were tentative to start with, by the end of the session virtually the whole group was involved. First rate playing, patient guidance on what to do (as 80% of attendees had never done this before) and a good vibe all round. A really fun and memorable evening was had by all."
