"Just wanted to thank the Black Velvet Band for a really great evening last Saturday. They were excellent musicians and the caller was superb (very patient with the Danish contingent who took some time to get the hang of the instructions!) What I particularly appreciate is how considerate and adaptable the band was regarding my wishes. I had lovely time and have had a lot of positive comments from my guests."

"Had Blu Country for our wedding band and they took care of music for the whole day, from ceremony right up to the end of the night and it was perfect. "Cannot recommend The Shamrock Experience highly enough. Firstly, just a wonderfully good fun and high energy act for people of all ages and abilities. I had 100 guests and all of them were up on the dancefloor, footloose, fancy-free and having the time of their lives. So much joy and laughter and no inhibitions. Ben kept us all in check marvellously! I have had so many comments since about what a wonderful band it was and how it was such a brilliant party. Behind the scenes and in the run up, Ben and the guys were helpful, informative, communicated clearly and in good time, and made the set up and delivery of the event itself so easy that I didn't have to worry about anything at all. Would definitely book again / would definitely recommend. Thanks so much for a really memorable night."

"What a fantastic band! These lovely people played and called the ceilidh at our wedding. They made the guests feel at ease, the instructions were brilliantly clear and they were very accommodating and flexible to our requests. One of our groomsmen is a ceilidh caller and they graciously allowed him to call for a song which meant the world to us. They were communicative and helpful and even organised an exit dance for us! We were struck by their positivity and kindness and greatly appreciated their part in our special day. Thank you Storm Band! "

"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. "The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"The band were wonderful at my party. Everyone loved the music and Kip was so patient explaining the steps. They were really flexible and tailored the whole evening to what we wanted. Lip was very reassuring prior to the party answering all my queries. I would highly recommend them and would love the same party every year!"
