"We welcomed Black Velvet Band Irish Duo for our St Patrick's Day celebration and the club was packed. We were thoroughly entertained from start to finish! We loved the music and we danced to all the well-known old Irish songs. Thank you and we hope to host you again!"

"What a fantastic band! These lovely people played and called the ceilidh at our wedding. They made the guests feel at ease, the instructions were brilliantly clear and they were very accommodating and flexible to our requests. One of our groomsmen is a ceilidh caller and they graciously allowed him to call for a song which meant the world to us. They were communicative and helpful and even organised an exit dance for us! We were struck by their positivity and kindness and greatly appreciated their part in our special day. Thank you Storm Band! "

"Dear Mike, Jason and Terry (in no particular order) Thank you so much for your part in a lovely evening. I realise now what a creative act a barn dance is, requiring co-operation (co-ercion??!) (gently done!!) from all sorts of assorted people. We had a fabulous time, and I shall treasure the looks of thorough enjoyment on each of the dancers’ faces. "

"The Blaggers played at our wedding recently in Lichfield, they had travelled up from London especially. We were really impressed with their set and talent. I would highly recommend for an occasion. All our guests commented on how fantastic they sounded. So happy we booked them."

"The band were wonderful at my party. Everyone loved the music and Kip was so patient explaining the steps. They were really flexible and tailored the whole evening to what we wanted. Lip was very reassuring prior to the party answering all my queries. I would highly recommend them and would love the same party every year!"

"Blue Jewel were the best band for my daughter's wedding. They were easy to liaise with ahead of time, and their performance in the evening ceilidh was just what we hoped for. Good music, a lovely relaxed manner from all performers, and patient teaching of the dances to the guests. Our guests did not want them to stop! We would whole-heartedly recommend them for such an occasion. Thank you!"

"Words cannot describe how pleased we are about the exceptional entertainment provided by Dave, Mike and Gerry at our wedding in Durham. Their fantastic repertoire truly added a special and unique touch to our evening, and provided many of our guests from all corners the world a wonderful introduction to British folk music. Not to mention how patient and friendly their caller Dave was especially in teaching the dances to our guests, many of whom had never danced a Ceilidh before. In addition, their cheerfulness and easygoing disposition really helped us and our guests have a marvellous time. To this day, our guests still constantly praise the ceilidh music provided during the evening. Thank you so much and we would recommend them over and over again to anyone seeking quality entertainment for any event."

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day. "

"Dear Helen, David and I don't know how to thank you and your colleagues enough for your absolutely brilliant contribution to our wedding reception. Everyone was raving about how great you were, and I can't count how many times I said, in response to how I found you; "The best ever result of days of google searching" I think that I told you this before, but I listened to so many clips of bands, and it took me about 30 seconds of listening to you to know that you were the right people for the wedding of two musicians, whose guest list was chock full of musicians! I have an absolutely hilarious video of my 7 year old niece going crazy to your music, which I would be happy to send along if you would like. She is officially your biggest fan, and loudly declared that evening "That music makes this the BEST WEDDING EVER!!!" Please could you pass along our admiration and gratitude to the rest of the band?
