"Kip and his band were absolutely amazing. We had an unusual wedding venue and they made it work so that it was just perfect. I was overwhelmed with all the care and attention that they put into the calls and making sure everyone was included from very young to older guests. Anyone who has a wedding really knows that it flies by for the bride and groom but Kip made sure we were called to dance so we also had the opportunity to enjoy the music. We will be hiring these guys again as they were brilliant and fantastic musicians. You made the day so special, we can't thank you enough. Rachel and Christian x"

"Dermot was incredible!! Himself and the two other musicians were absolutely fantastic and were the highlight of the night! They even let me sing with them which was a real honor. Everybody was asking me where i found the band and how they could book them for future parties. Highly recommended :)"

"BM Ceilidh were excellent! They pitched it right for our inexperienced group, getting among us to ensure we were right and keeping steps fairly straight forward. Additionally, they were very good at trying to keep us on track with timings when we stopped for food as well as playing while we talked and recovered between dances"

"Thank you so much to Ceilidh With Us for all the band did for our wedding, we absolutely loved the ceilidh - it was so much fun and we are 100% satisfied! 😃 The caller was fantastic and explained everything very clearly. The music was really fun and it was helpful when songs got gradually faster; the speed was perfect. The band also managed the number of people well, as there were a lot of people for the space. The communication with the band has been absolutely fantastic as well in terms of meetings, arranging things behind the scenes, and coordinating with the venue. We ended up leaving a bit early simply because we were absolutely exhausted by that point, and the band were wonderful and accommodating in terms of changing the order of songs, so thank you for that - it was a shame we couldn’t stay right until the end!"

"Thanks again for make my mum's night so special. I will definitely recommend you to everyone should they need a band such as yourselves. My mum had a brilliant time and I managed to create the night I had planned in my head. So much so she couldn't sleep for the following 2 nights with the excitement of it all!!! "Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"We had an amazing night thanks to Blue Jewel. Our international students had never seen or heard of a ceilidh before, but after a little convincing they joined in with the first dance. By the time it came to the second dance, they all wanted to join in and then danced for hours. The band were so great at explaining what to do, especially to students who are learning English, and making them laugh - plus playing wonderful lively music! "
