Review Centre: String Quartets

"I hired Scherzando for my wedding, it was very last minute as I only decided I wanted a string quartet 2 weeks before the big day, however Sue and her fellow musicians were very helpful and even travelled all the way to Sheffield for the wedding. They also managed to learn a new song for me in that short space of time, nothing was too much trouble. Scherzando played beautifully and it made the event really special, I would definitely recommend the group to anyone for any event, but especially for weddings. Thank you so much!"

"Wow wow wow - what a talented pair of musicians. Both my wife & I are so glad we chose you to play at both the church and the reception for our wedding. I really can't praise you both enough. You really did make our day that extra special, and so many of our friends and family agreed. The only bit I was disappointed with was that we didn't book you to play in the garden longer as time just flew by and we could have listened to you play all day. Thank you so much guys x "

"We hired Ebor Quartet for our wedding and they were amazing! Everyone was so friendly and the they sounded perfect. We chose a Bridgerton-style of songs rather than the traditional music and it was a big hit with everyone. Added that little bit extra to the day and went down so well with everyone. "Warwickshire Strings Quartet played at my wedding ceremony and for the duration of the drinks reception that followed it, which lasted for two hours. I had a clear picture of what I wanted and Warwickshire Strings allowed me to achieve this vision perfectly. Having done an extensive search on the internet, I chose Warwickshire Strings due to their extensive repertoire (one of the largest that I came across), the fact that they gave me free reign over the playlist and the impressive demos available online. Rachel was a pleasure to work with. Her communication was very efficient – she was happy to answer my queries and any questions I had were answered promptly. There were a couple of songs that I wanted for sentimental reasons that were not in their existing repertoire and she was able to source these at minimal cost. The quartet were fantastic on the day. All my guests complemented us on how much they enjoyed the music and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Warwickshire Strings to anyone looking for a string quartet. "

"Just wanted to say that the CG quartet we hired for my daughter' s wedding from LMM were amazing. They arranged and played what she requested beautifully, from waiting for the bride to arrive, playing as she went up the aisle and then processing out again. They were professional and their playing was of the highest quality. Everything was organised with minimal fuss and communication and reassurance was constant throughout. I would thoroughly recommend LMM."
