Review Centre: String Quartets

"Scherzando Strings played for us at our recent wedding and they were fantastic! They played to my guests at the Church before we arrived, and learned the song I chose to walk down the isle to especially for me as it wasn't in their repertoire. They then played songs we loved during the singing of the register too which made the whole ceremony so much more special ( Braveheart brought a tear to everyone's eye). They then set up at our reception venue and played more wonderful music for the welcome hour, including Disney, Bridgerton, Harry Potter, opera, classical, just a great mix that kept us all entertained and they are wonderful, friendly people too. Sue was great to chat too and no request was too much trouble. Would 1000% hire again for any event. (10 / 10)"

"Chapel hill duo played at our wedding 28th April, would highly recommend they were absolutely flawless with their music. Really lovely people too and just made our day that extra bit special with how they played the songs, they really were fantastic and I’m glad I got to have them play for our big day! "Dear Anne, Thank you all for you efforts throughout the day! Many people commented on how superb the quartet was. It was such a special element to the day. We are so so pleased with the performances, song choices and effortless ease in which carried out their role. Despite being a working day for them, we hope they had the opportunity to enjoy some of the food and weather! "I would like to say a massive thank you to you and the other ladies for a truly magical performance on my wedding day. I am very sorry that I didn't get the chance to come and say thank you in person- I was tied up taking endless photos with family and friends, but I did certainly enjoy it alot! You created a really romantic atmosphere, and I must say, I absolutely loved A thousand years by Christina Perri. "We were lucky enough to have The Ebor Quartet perform at our wedding after being so impressed with one of their Candlelight Concert nights in York. Not only are they excellent musicians but right from the beginning, Conor and the team made the planning seamless and nothing was too much to ask. They even learned one of my favourite classical pieces which I walked down the aisle to. We will definitely be seeing them again at their upcoming concerts."

"We booked Wigornia String Quartet after seeing them at the Wedding Show at Birmingham NEC in 2023 and we knew straight away we had to have them play at our wedding, which we recently celebrated in May this year. We really can’t thank them all enough for the most beautiful ceremony music we could have ever wished for! From walking down the aisle to our drinks reception, they delivered perfection. They brought such class and elegance to our wedding celebration and we had so many lovely compliments about their gorgeous performances from our guests, they really were stunning.
