"A huge thank you to Thames Valley String Quartet for the beautiful music they played at our wedding. Firstly for playing me down the aisle so beautifully and then during our reception. They truly added to a perfect day for us. From start to finish the quartet were professional and polished, even learning our first dance for us from scratch. They were not fussed by changing timetables as sometimes happens at weddings & were happy to play our requests. Their musicality and passion for the music were clear from start to finish. We thoroughly recommend Thames Valley String Quartet to anyone wishing to add something special to their event. Thank you again"

"I was struggling to find a string quartet for our wedding in Oxfordshire that were in budget and played the style of music that we wanted. I was relieved when Liz from the 440 Quartet got back to me to say they were available and were happy to travel from Birmingham to Oxfordshire to play at our wedding. Liz went above and beyond to help us get our playlist just right learning new songs that they didn’t have in their repertoire. They played every song to perfection on the day and everyone really enjoyed listening to them throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. The mix of songs they played around our playlist worked perfectly. Thank you Liz for being so helpful and accommodating, we really appreciate it as it took so much stress out of the process for us. I cannot recommend The 440 String Quartet highly enough for any wedding or event. "

We must say how beautiful your music was on arrival for the welcome reception – you provided such a fabulous atmosphere to such a perfect day. Everyone commented on your professionalism, your exceptionally smart appearance and truly enjoyed recognising the classical interpretation of the modern music played. The huge selection and varied style of music performed was absolutely perfect, covering all age groups and to be honest with you, I think the adults truly enjoyed the Disney selection! We were only disappointed that we didn't get the opportunity to listen closely to your whole performance – but thankfully, your CD is a wonderful keepsake – so we can hear you play once again. "Gareth John and Nouveau Quartet were a highlight of our wedding day. Having Gareth involved felt especially meaningful - he was my music teacher, and that personal history added something to the occasion that we hadn't quite anticipated. At our request, they arranged two songs specially for the quartet - one for the bride's entrance and one for the exit. Both were beautifully done, and it was a moment that clearly resonated with our guests too, judging by the number of people who mentioned it afterwards. Throughout the ceremony and reception, Nouveau Quartet were faultless. They covered a fantastic mix of classical, pop and film music with real skill and warmth, and kept the atmosphere exactly right from start to finish. If you're looking for live musicians for your wedding, we'd recommend them without hesitation."
