"We were thrilled that we picked Dorchester Strings to play on our wedding day, whilst guests tucked into canapés - their music created the most beautiful ambiance. They played absolutely beautifully and many of our guests were raving about them. They have a wide repertoire of music to pick from and we were really happy with their service - from their communication in the lead up to the day to their performance. Thank you so much."

"Just wanted to send an email to say a massive thank you for performing at our Wedding in Knowsley Hall on 30th July. We first heard you at an open day in the Hall some months before, and at the time you were playing Hoppipolla. We hadn't thought about booking a string quartet, but for some reason hearing you play this made me come over very emotional and we knew we had to have you playing me down the aisle to that song. From the moment we first enquired with you, you have been nothing but helpful and proffesional, and we knew we could rely on you. Even when I was flapping about the timings of the aisle music and worrying I would get the walk wrong, Rachel was quick to reassure me that you adapt the music as needed on the day to ensure the bride walks at the best part of the song,and the timing of the song could be finished as appropriate to the start of the ceremony. This, and everything else you played on the day worked perfectly. The songs you used were beautiful and set the tone of the day so well, you looked and sounded amazing. Our guests have all commented on how wonderful you were, and we really cannot thank you enough. "

"The Magenta String duo were fantastic. Communication prior to the event was top notch and nothing was too much trouble. The music during the ceromony and after during the arrival drinks was fantastic and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the playing was. Everyone was talking about how romantic, inspiring and beautifully scene-setting your playing was, I listened by my room window as I got ready for my big day and kept smiling as I heard our chosen tracks played so stunningly. All our guests commented on our Harry Potter theme entrance, and Signed, sealed, delivered as we put our signatures on official documents - your trio was a talking point for the rest of the day as everyone told us how much they enjoyed it. "Dear all A quick note to say thank you so much for coming across to Ludlow for our concert yesterday . It was brilliant to hear Kubla Khan with added instrumental colour of the string quartet with percussion and I felt that we gave an exciting performance of this. The choir really appreciated the instrumental support in the other pieces too. We very much enjoyed the Dunachie quartet movements - many thanks to Anne, Jane, Helen and Hilary for putting those together. It was a pleasure to work with you all. "Kara Strings were just amazing at our wedding. The string quartet sounded so beautiful, honestly even better than we expected. They played both classical and some modern songs we love, and every piece was just perfect. The whole booking process was really easy and friendly, no stress at all. Lots of guests came up to us saying how special the music was. If you ever need a string quartet in London, I’d definetly recommend Kara Strings."
