"We were privileged to have North East Serenade for the first part of our son's wedding. This helped create a great atmosphere pre and post ceremony. They have an extensive repertoire from which to choose and will even arrange requests as long as they are given adequate notice. We are very pleased that they were able to attend and would not hesitate to recommend them."

"I was looking on last minute musicians to book a string quartet for my wedding. They got in touch quickly and Kirsten was extremely helpful in sorting everything out. They have pages of songs, from classical to movie themes, choosing from the list was the hard part, because I loved so many songs. But they were constantly in touch making sure I chose the right songs. At the wedding they made my day extra special. All the guests were floored with their music. They were enthusiastic and really looked like they were having a great time! I can’t thank them enough and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book them. "

"Working with the girls in Hope Quartet has been an absolute pleasure. The Telegraph Cruise & Travel Show was a two day event at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10-4pm on Sunday. As the only string quartet at the event, it was quite demanding on the girls to play across both days with 1-1.5hrs sessions on a tight schedule. Their performances were fantastic and provided our visitors with a relaxing and intimate atmosphere within our Cream Tea Experience. We have received many lovely comments from our visitors since the show, and I would highly recommend Hope String Quartet for any event that requires a classy and sophisticated musical accompaniment."

"Wow! Magenta strings played beautifully at one of our church fundraising evenings by candlelight. Everyone was blown away by the music and the atmosphere. We will definitely be asking them back for our 2026 fundraiser! "

"Dear Anne, Just wanted to say thank you for the music at our Golden wedding/birthday party on board the Sabrina on 10th July. Your choice of music was very good with something for everybody. I’m sorry you had to play in such cramped conditions, but it was lovely to have you there - really lifted the spirits. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and thankfully the weather was kind to us and didn’t rain until it was time to go home. thanks once again, We did enjoy it, and courtesy of the recording made by my youngest grandson, can listen again to your lovely playing of Elgar's "salut d'amour' any time we like - the sound is good on the recording, though the picture leaves something to be desired.
