Review Centre: String Quartets

"Having the String Quartet play at our wedding was one of the highlights of the day and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Being able to pick music that we loved and knew so well (and was fun!) made us really feel like we were adding something personal to us, to our day. Listening to them during the wedding breakfast felt like we were having our own concert! Kim was a pleasure to deal with and we really appreciated them fitting around our timings for the day."

"Flux Ensemble performed at our wedding, (Sunday 16th June, 2024), and from organising what music to play, (entrance/exit music, music for the signing etc.), through to the day itself, they were consistently friendly and utterly professional, and were not fazed one bit by our choices of tracks. Would thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend!"

"Dear all A quick note to say thank you so much for coming across to Ludlow for our concert yesterday . It was brilliant to hear Kubla Khan with added instrumental colour of the string quartet with percussion and I felt that we gave an exciting performance of this. The choir really appreciated the instrumental support in the other pieces too. We very much enjoyed the Dunachie quartet movements - many thanks to Anne, Jane, Helen and Hilary for putting those together. It was a pleasure to work with you all. "We booked Astri Strings for our celebration event at The Post Barn, Newbury. Jude was a delight to deal with during the booking stage, gave us a lovely pre-event call to check everything was in order and arrived as planned on the day. Jude and Vicki provided the perfect background music for our event with a gorgeous mix of Classical and Bridgerton style music to welcome guests arriving. Everyone appreciated having live musicians as they looked fabulous and sounded fantastic. Thank you both, from the WD Farmers team, for making our event extra special. July 2024 "
