"We were bowled over by the band! The 2 sets were perfectly pitched to get dancers onto the floor, really good musicianship and sound system. 10/10. Before the day Mark was in good contact and made sure that we had the event we wanted, also early arrival and set up so we could relax on the day. Cannot thank them enough, highly recommended. Massive THANKYOU !!"

"Mark was great and we enjoyed his music, but we lost a lot of our own music in the afternoon due to an overrun on the speeches and Wedding breakfast. Therefore we decided to let Mark go early so we could have more of our own music we had chosen for the dj. Mark is a talented guitarist and we would certainly recommend him! "

This was on the occasion of our Ruby Wedding Anniversary held at Birmingham Progressive Synagogue on Saturday, 16th July 2016. Your music was perfect, you had everyone up singing and got everyone in the party spirit. "Thank you, guys, for finding time beforehand to rehearse with Amy, the bridegroom’s sister, who sang Elton John’s “Your Song” for the bride and groom’s 1st dance. It was beautiful and very special to have her sing their first song with accompaniment from the band. I think everyone was very moved by it (we are hoping someone filmed it but are not sure!). The dance floor was packed all evening for the ceilidh and we all had great fun - which was the intention. It was an amazing day, evening and whole weekend - we carried on the celebrations on Sunday! Thank you to Black Velvet Band for helping to make the wedding so memorable. "

"We booked Irish Folk/Pop Band for our wedding evening , and oh my goodness these guys are amazing !! Leading up to the wedding communication was great , and they were so accommodating to playlists and to requests. Every one of my guests has said to me how great our band was, 100 % recommend! Have asked the lads to drop us a wee message if they're playing anywhere locally as we want to see them play again."

"We booked the band for our wedding reception back in October. We are both huge Irish music fans and have had several memorable trips to Ireland so it was especially important to us to have a live Irish band on our big day. We spend a fair amount of time looking for the "perfect Irish band" and were over the moon to have found The Extonions. From the initial enquiry Mac was both friendly and very professional. He instantly made us feel like we had made the right decision and was more than happy to include any special song requests we had. He then made sure they included on the night and that everyone had a great time. All the band members were lovely and friendly chatting to our guests and fitted in perfectly with our relaxed party atmosphere. Many of our guests have commented on how great they were and we would not hesitate in booking them again in the future or recommending them to others. Thanks so much for making our wedding day so memorable."

"From the minute they tuned up with ‘oh What a Night’ we could tell the Absolute band were going to be brilliant. We had booked them last minute after someone had cancelled. We couldn’t believe our luck that they were free - someone else’s loss was our gain! We booked the six piece option with fiddle and they exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. Musically fantastic, lovely guys and a brilliant playlist. We got to have input from their vast repertoire, but then handed it over to them to put it all together and take charge. The dance floor was packed all night and they absolutely MADE our party. Look no further than this band - they are fantastic.
