"I recently booked Ruby to sing at a 100th birthday celebration for one of our residents at the care home where I work. I wanted to organise the most perfect party for Ida and her family and even managed to secure the Lord Mayor of Sutton Coldfield to attend the celebration. From our first conversation, I knew Ruby was just perfect to perform for us all. Ruby arrived and set up at the agreed time looking fabulous, and sang us through the ages. One memorable moment was whilst singing The White Cliffs of Dover Ruby sang right next to Ida and they interacted beautifully with Ida fully engaged and singing along. The feedback I received from our residents, their relatives and staff in attendance at the celebration was absolutely brilliant and many have asked when Ruby will be back to sing for us all again. I have booked Ruby for our next event and look forward to working with her on many more occasions. I can not recommend this lovely lady enough."

"What can I say? The band was brilliant. Great vocals from Johnny, ably supported by Mike on fiddle and Eddy on accordion. By the end of the night everyone was dancing and calling for more. "Absolute brought their acoustic roaming band to play our wedding reception at Cain Manor and did not disappoint. They created an amazing atmosphere outside before and after the ceremony. They also played my wife walking down the aisle which really added to the emotion. I'm sure they would also make an awesome evening band now dancing is allowed again! "We booked Funk With Us for our wedding in October and wow, it was the best decision ever!! The music and dancing part of the wedding was so important for us and SWU absolutely smashed it - so much energy from start to finish - we (and our guests) never left the dancefloor. It exactly what we'd hoped for and dreamed of... especially after 2 postponements! We loved being able to choose our favourite music from the SWU repertoire - which Lilac then transformed into the perfect setlist for our party. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how amazing the band was - and its the music makes the party!! Huge thank you to Lilac and Remko for everything."

"The absolute best group you could ever have at your wedding. Lilac and Remko are musical masterminds and they helped our wedding be the biggest party in town. You have to book them! Lilac and Remko rock! Absolutely one of the highlights of our day was seeing a kick-ass 8 piece get the whole room dancing to our Motown-inspired playlist. They helped with curation to ensure we picked the right floor-fillers and chucked in a couple of modern classics and a vocal cameo from one of our guests in, too. We really can't recommend them enough. Everything was smooth and our day was honestly even better because of them."

"What a great way to celebrate St Patrick’s day at our Cons club! The performance went amazingly well! The dance floor was full on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON! I put that down to the guys who played songs and tunes with such an exciting beat that you just couldn’t stay still. The whole afternoon was huge fun. I highly recommend the band."
