"I wanted to thank you and your brilliant band for your fantastic work on Saturday 3rd June 2017. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without them. I didn't get a chance to say thank you on the day so please pass on our delight. The dance floor was never empty when they were playing and so many people commented on how good they were. "Ruby Sings arrived with razzmatazz for our VE celebrations on our village green. With a head turning outfit fit to entertain, Ruby delivered song after song. Everyone sang along, and her enthusiasm wowed us all. We all loved Ruby, so much so, we are to see her again very soon, by popular demand in our village pub. Ruby Rocks 💖🥂💖 "

"I have personally known this band for more years than sometimes I want to remember. (I think about 25!). They have performed many times in all three establishments associated with my long career as a licensee. In addition, I have watched & listened to their music in numerous Castle Rock Pub outlets, in my capacity as director of said company. The band exhibit the kind of professional approach to their audience, no matter how big or small the venue, that would be an example to many other performers I have witnessed over the years. Playing with real passion, skill and flare, they embrace their audience into their world of Celtic music like no other. During their distinguished career, they have built up a seemingly endless repertoire of songs and tunes from their Celtic roots, and therefore every set played to faithful followers tends to be unique! All the members of this great band, both past and present, have become personal friends of mine and long may it continue. I have no hesitation in recommending Kellys Heroes to any establishment or agency."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio were a fantastic edition to our Burns Night celebrations. From communicating before the event to the actual day, the group were professional and easy to reach. They also went above and beyond what their initial brief by ed by agreeing to toast the haggis – which was met with cheers - and taking suggestions from the crowd for different dances. By the end of the night they felt like part of the ROSL family."

"The performers were brilliant. Ours was a slightly different gig: a St Patrick's Day celebration just in our front room in a terraced house with a small (about 8 people) audience. They played without a p.a system and it was an intimate, enjoyable gig with everyone joining in with the songs. LMM were great: friendly, efficient and prompt with contracts and arrangements. I'd definitely do it again."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Janet’s 69th Birthday Ceilidh – June 2025 Oh what a night it was! Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio was the perfect choice for a celebration. They chose dances that matched the skill and enthusiasm of my guests. Setting the right pace is good when lots of guests belong to a running club! Guests from Hong Kong, Greece, Vietnam China and USA had no idea what they were coming to … The band arrived on time, setting up easily and Phil’s friendly manner of instruction was just right. My 6 year old niece (who is VERY shy) shocked her mother by joining the dancing! Lovely comments from guests: “I haven’t danced like that in years” and ” The most fun and dis-organised chaos I’ve had in ages!"

"We were recommended to hire Absolute to play at my wife’s 50th party we were not disappointed. Guys turned up on time, were highly professional, but most importantly had the dance floor full for the entire evening. They received so many compliments. We went for the 6 piece line-up.
