Review Centre: String Quartets

"My dream was to have a small wedding in a beautiful country house with the sound of a string quartet playing in the background. I was lucky enough to find Sarah who helped me make my dream come true. Sarah met me at the wedding venue and we practiced her playing as I walked down the stairs and into the ceremony room to perfection. We stayed in close contact and I was able to choose all the music I wanted, including one piece I had especially written just for me. The quartet played beautifully before and during the ceremony and then during the wedding breakfast. I would recommend them to anyone considering this most special addition to their wedding plans. Fabulous."

"I cannot recommend Bowfiddle Strings highly enough. Their trio performed during our church ceremony and our garden reception, and it was stunningly beautiful. Their wide repertoire from classical to modern created such a magical atmosphere that really made the day. They were incredibly professional and a dream to deal with - a huge thank you for making our day so special."

"The Romanza string quartet played for our wedding and were absolutely superb. Helen was wonderful at communicating with me prior to the event via email. They had an extensive repertoire and we chose classical music for the ceremony and pop afterwards. They made the day feel so special - thank you so much!"

"Thank you for helping make our special day so memorable. We received a fantastic service before and throughout our wedding day and everything was very well organised. Our guests very much enjoyed the quartet and in particular hearing their favourite or well known songs being played. "Would just like to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding on 9th July you made it truly wonderful. We had so many comments on how wonderful you were and how you added that finishing touch. You played the songs we requested and even acquired and learned a couple more at our request which was fantastic of you and really made the day (especially seeing as one of them was a different version of the Bridal March - the day would not have been the same if I had had not been able to walk down the aisle to this.) I would definitely recommend North West String Quartet to anyone wanting to add a beautiful, elegant musical touch to their special day! The music was so beautiful it brought tears to people's eyes and I am only gutted that I missed the majority of the music at the reception due to being outside having photographs taken :-( Thank you again so so much!"
