"Dear Anne I had a great time on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed working with the orchestra and catching up with players from previous concerts. The orchestra really were responsive – especially the strings – and when rehearsal time is so short I felt that we were able to get straight down to the details which was very good. "I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the string quartet from Saturday. The entrance music was just perfect and we had many complimentary comments from guests during the performance. It was a shame we were doing photo duties and did not get to hear more!"

"Ebor Quartet played at our wedding last weekend at The Grand Hotel in York. They played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and were absolutely stunning from start to finish. So many of our guests commented on their performance & our little 2 year old nephew couldn't get enough of them - applauding each time they finished a song! They really added that magical sparkle one wants at a wedding. Ebor were recommended by our venue and I can see why. From the moment we booked them, Conor was helpful and communicative via email, and easily adapted to any requests we had. We decided fairly late on in the planning process to extend cocktail hour out a little longer to ensure myself and my new husband would be able to enjoy time with our guests and Conor quickly assured me they'd be able to stay for the extended time & enabled us to make an extra payment for the added time. They honoured all requests we had when it came to song choices (eg: My Girl for the aisle walk, and we wanted Vivaldi's Spring to open cocktail hour but were otherwise flexible on the order of our chosen songs) They also provided a bit of guidance where relevant - helpful when one doesn't book these sorts of things on a regular basis! Overall - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ebor - if you're thinking about booking them, go for it ✨️ Our guests are still talking about them! 💙"

"Hi Anne, my apologies for not getting in touch sooner but just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding!! It sounded incredible and really suited the surrounds, my only regret is as myself and Emma were outside for a large period of the drinks reception, we didn't get to hear more but we had some lovely comments from guests. I hope that the groomsmen and venue looked after you on the day and thank you once again for being part of our day."
