"Mark and the band were amazing, turned up on time and did exactly what they said they would do. The vocals and music was spot on and interacted superbly with the guests ......... Played a wide range of well know songs to keep everybody happy with everybody shouting for MORE!!!! at the end of the night. Would definately recommend ........ you wont be disappointed!!!!!! "

"A big thank you to you and your fellow musicians in the It's No' Reel Scottish Ceilidh Band for making our retirement ceilidh a really memorable night. We were so pleased that we chose you, thanks really to your excellent website. You were thoroughly professional in your approach and from our first e-mail communications we got a sense of reassurance - even although we had never heard you play live. We were also pleased that we chose to have a second fiddle - that gave such a wonderful sound. A friend & I were putting finishing touches to things in the foyer while you were tuning up. You then started to play, we looked at each other, both gave a spontaneous 'thumbs up' and big smiles - we knew then that it was going to be a great night! We know from our friends and family that they all did have a great night and you were the most talked about part of the whole evening. I just wish we could do it all again so we could get more time to sit and listen to your music - it all went by in a bit of a blur for Greg & I. Apart from comments on your professionalism, the quality of your playing and the fact that you got the sound level just right - many people told us how much they enjoyed listening to what you played between the dance tunes. We did not need the disco playlist after all! I just hope that we are able to hear you play live again! Thanks once more to you all, you made our special night even more special. We would recommend you to anyone looking for a band for a special event - we could not have asked for more. Thank goodness you were free on the 27th!!"

"Patrick is a true gentleman and anyone would be lucky to have him as their piper !!!!! We were impressed that Patrick offered to learn any song of our choice for my sisters wedding in a short amount of time. He learned my parents wedding song from 35 Years ago... Elvis I Cant Help Falling In Love With You . Thank you Patrick, my sisters and brother in laws wedding would not have been the same without Patrick !"

"We had seen the Band before at a School fund raising Barn Dance in Newton Ferrers. They were superb then and they were again at our Twinning Barn Dance. There are plenty of good Bands around for Barn Dances but this Band brings a few extras. Not only are they first class instrumentalists but they have great callers. They even speak French! We have no hesitation in rating them 10/10. "

That view has kindly also been expressed but many of our guests and they have also particularly mentioned us. We had a few people from the music business within our guest groups and they were also genuinely impressed with your performance. "Hi Derek, Scott and the rest of the PCB, I just wanted to say a massive thank you (again) for your wonderful performance last Saturday. The ceilidh/disco combination suited everybody, and we were delighted that you were able to persuade so many people to join in. The instruction you provided was just right, gently mocking our general ineptitude and praising effusively when we got something right! We would definitely be happy to ask you to perform at our next daughter’s wedding (but I’m hoping this will be a few years in the future …).
