"I would just like to thank you for the wonderful performance on Sat night at my Daughter’s naming ceremony. We all had a great time, and everybody commented on how great the band was. I never laughed or enjoyed a dance so much and would like to have another party, just to have you play again. "This is the second time we have booked the Black Velvet Band for our summer ceilidh, and it was such fun! The band ran two different dancing sessions for our international students and were very patient with explaining the dances and encouraging all students to participate. The music was brilliant and energetic, and all three band members were so kind and even paused for a photoshoot with the students. We are looking forward to next summer already. I’d absolutely recommend them for any event/party/celebration!"

"Ardverikie Ceilidh Band played for our 40th birthday (70 adults + 20 kids). They were brilliant. The caller gave clear instructions and plenty of encouragement and was undaunted by the chaos of a squad of kids. The fiddle playing and guitar were excellent, and the musicians had the judgement to know when to give the crowd a rest and mix in instrumental sets and songs. In short, they put on a great Ceilidh, are absolute professionals and their version of the song “the Queen of Argyle” made my night."

"Jock Rock are amazing!! They were exactly what we wanted for our wedding! They played a good mix of ceilidh songs and also some modern songs too! Our dance floor was never empty and we got lots of comments about how good our band were!"

"A big, big thanks to you and It's No' Reel for coming to play at our wedding in Staffordshire - you guys were an immense success! Everything was seamless, from the correspondence before the wedding to the performance on the night. As we had guests from all over the world, only a handful were familiar with ceilidh dancing but thanks to your brilliant calling and great tunes you managed to get everyone up on the dance floor (even the least likely!) from our 8yr old Australian nephew to our parents and grandparents. We had such a wonderful time and the Strip the Willow finalé will go down as wedding legend amongst our friends! I would recommend you to anyone and everyone planning a party requiring top class entertainment that will be remembered. Thank you again, Lisa and Grafton"

"Many thanks to The Rib Ticklers for helping us raise money at our charity event for The Injured Jockeys Fund. They were brilliant and kept a wide age range of people on their feet all night.
