"We had two wonderful ladies playing Irish music and songs at a home 21st birthday party. We had the BEST time thank you, and you guys really made the party. We’ve had such fab compliments from all the youngsters who really enjoyed your tunes - a mixture of trad folk songs and modern - and absolutely loved the couple of Ceilidh dances (even after a few drinks!) which you led so well for us, super fun. Thanks to you both for making it all so special. You really are spot on with your tunes and very talented musicians and singers. I will never understand how you can play three instruments at one time and make it all sound and feel so good. AMAZING and I would recommend for any event, young or old."

"A big thank you to you and your fellow musicians in the It's No' Reel Scottish Ceilidh Band for making our retirement ceilidh a really memorable night. We were so pleased that we chose you, thanks really to your excellent website. You were thoroughly professional in your approach and from our first e-mail communications we got a sense of reassurance - even although we had never heard you play live. We were also pleased that we chose to have a second fiddle - that gave such a wonderful sound. A friend & I were putting finishing touches to things in the foyer while you were tuning up. You then started to play, we looked at each other, both gave a spontaneous 'thumbs up' and big smiles - we knew then that it was going to be a great night! We know from our friends and family that they all did have a great night and you were the most talked about part of the whole evening. I just wish we could do it all again so we could get more time to sit and listen to your music - it all went by in a bit of a blur for Greg & I. Apart from comments on your professionalism, the quality of your playing and the fact that you got the sound level just right - many people told us how much they enjoyed listening to what you played between the dance tunes. We did not need the disco playlist after all! I just hope that we are able to hear you play live again! Thanks once more to you all, you made our special night even more special. We would recommend you to anyone looking for a band for a special event - we could not have asked for more. Thank goodness you were free on the 27th!!"

"This is the 3rd year running that we've been lucky enough to have the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band play for our charity's annual barn dance. I cannot rate them highly enough - from great communication before the event to fabulous music on the day, they are first class. We're already looking forward to our 4th one next year!"

"A huge thanks to The Shooglers for a fantastic evening at Ross Priory for Kathryn's 50th Birthday Ceilidh. The band were fantastic and got everyone up dancing from the bairns ( The "Duracell Baby" 18-month-old Ava) to the adults (80+ year old gran) in what was a memorable night for our family and friends. The pattern was good, the ceilidh music was great and Pink Floyd's "The Wall" during A Dashing White Sergeant is STILL being talked about. Thanks for a great gig guys and would highly recommend for a booking...why would you choose anyone other than The Rockiest Ceilidh band in the World? "

"Party Sounds were great - very helpful and accommodating in our song choices, performed our 2 requested 'First Dance' tracks and played a great set which all the guests loved. They were a friendly bunch of guys and even let one of the guests play during their break! Highly recommended."

"Just a short email to say many thanks for the music and dancing on Saturday at Childerley. I hope you could tell we all had a great time - were we any less competent than most people at the dancing?? As far as I know, only one person fell over, and we have to blame too much champagne for that. The whole event went fantastically well, and your part in it was much appreciated. Should the opportunity arise, we will book your group again, and recommend you if we know of anyone else having a “do” in your area. A lot of fun was had by both dancers and spectators. "

"We booked Jen to play the violin during our wedding ceremony and reception drinks. Jen was very courteous on the day and flexible with our schedule when things ran behind. Jen had a large set list, which we could pick our favourites from and also allowed us to choose any 3 songs for the ceremony which she learnt and played perfectly. Jen was very professional, friendly and organised throughout the planning process and on the day, we couldn't have asked for more! The atmosphere Jen created for our special day was perfect and our guests loved everything too!"
