"With only two days notice Patrick fulfilled my expectations on what was a very emotional and sad day. Communication in emails between us was very good and timely and nothing was too much trouble. He arrived well in advance of the funeral to give him time to warm up the pipes and all those arriving were very appreciative. The deceased, my partner was from Scotland. He loved the bagpipes and would have been mightily impressed. My original Piper, sadly, was suddenly taken ill and as an organisation you certainly lived up to your name of 'Last minute musicians.' At a very anxious time, with constant updates, you made the whole booking process very easy. Thank you. I would highly recommend you. "

"Would highly recommend them" Wraggle taggle were great (9th September 2023* Saturday Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 1BD}. The communication from the band leader was fantastic from the very beginning. They arrived on time and were very flexible considering the extreme heat on the day of our wedding. They are fantastic, talented musicians and all our guests were raving about them! Would highly recommend them for your event Eleanor Keane 18th September 2023"

" Black Velvet Band Irish Duo came to play at the Christmas Party for our CrossFit Gym held in the farmhouse on the site; they were easy and helpful to deal with from the start; everything clear and simple to follow. The performance was perfect for the occasion and Mike and his colleague were easy going and a pleasure to have around. They spent time with a guest who wanted to learn how to play one of the instruments and were great for getting people up and dancing. Thoroughly recommend the Irish Duo! "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Emma’s Daughter’s Wedding – April 2025 What a brilliant evening! The band were exactly what we wanted for my daughter’s wedding and really helped the reception go with a swing. Good music and the caller was great fun and guided us through the dances. "Thank you George! We had such a lovely evening (I am still aching now). Lots of the guests had never been to a ceilidh before and many have said what a wonderful time they had, and how great the band were. There is even talk of organising a village ceilidh - watch this space!"

"We had a great night at our retirement do. The band were brilliant and got everyone involved. I have had so many positive comments from people who attended including - it was the best night out I have ever had!! We were a pretty lively lot but Kip was very patient in explaining the dance when we just didn't get it. I would highly recommend The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone who is planning a fun filled evening. Thank you very much indeed. I will always remember what a wonderful evening I had when I retired from teaching. Alison (Torquay)"
