"The band were fantastic. They were professional, discreet and adaptable to everything that we asked of them. One of my favourite parts of the day was our first dance which they sang beautifully! We had so many compliments from guests about the band and about the song choices that they made, they were able to see what kind of music was popular and continued to get people up and dancing! They also played a fabulous acoustic set outside for us at our drinks reception which went perfectly with the relaxed feel of the afternoon. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and can't thank them enough for contributing to making our day so perfect."

"Hi Fiddlestix, Just a quick note to say thank you very much for the fabulous performances and ceilidh yesterday. The music was hugely complimented by our guests, and we had a wonderful time. Thanks to Mary’s great calling everyone got into the swing of it so readily - even the ceilidh novices! "Hi Fiddlestix! We absolutely loved our barn dance and had the most amazing time!! Thankyou all so very much and thanks again for performing the special song for us to all have a slow dance to, we really appreciated it!!!!! All our guests said how lovely the whole thing was! I just felt so awful that you didn’t get your platter of food, I’m so so sorry, I promise you it was all arranged and paid for but the pub completely forgot apparently, I was not best pleased!! There wasn’t even enough food for the rest of the guests really as so many more came than we anticipated!!!!! Anyway thanks again for being amazing ❤️ Love Zoe and Hannah xxx "

"Highly recommend Blue Jewel - they are a lively group and helped to make our wedding reception a fun and memorable one. When we first got in touch, Steve got back to us quickly and was very accommodating. The guys even learnt a couple of new songs to play as a medley for our first dance, with no fuss but great effort! :-)"

"Most of all, we wanted to let you know that we loved the band and their music...they were just as good as I'd hoped they would be and they were very easy and pleasant company. Those that did hear and experience the music did love it and thought it added a lovely vibe to the party. Thankyou to Last Minute Music also for your excellent customer service and very smart booking procedure through the website. You've been so easy to communicate with, both through the messages via email and the website but also by phone and it's actually been a really stress-free part of organising a party that meant a lot to us. You've been so helpful and friendly, it felt like a breath of fresh air doing business with you. We'd highly recommend you to any friends or family we know who need some music for an event. Would you please let the band know we would also do the same for them. They were great! We wish you continued success with the business which enables live music to survive and thrive ..something we all need in our lives. "

"For 13 years I have coordinated highly successful ceilidh dances in Bishopbriggs High School and now the new Bishopbriggs Academy. These Christmas dances are the culmination of 3 weeks of social dance with all year groups and it it a priority of mine that we have live music to create an upbeat atmosphere. I consider it part of my job to ensure these traditional dances are taught in school in a way pupils will enjoy and will perpetuate. This year I secured the services of The Shooglers for our S5/6 dance. The evening was a fantastic success and enjoyed immensely by pupils and staff alike. The band worked a perfect blend of traditional Scottish dance tunes with contemporary music the pupils are familiar with, which heightened their participation in – and positive attitude to – “social dancing”. I have already asked the band to perform at next year’s S5/6 dance in the school. I know it will be a special occasion. I recommend The Shooglers unreservedly to anyone hosting school dances, weddings or any kind of function. "
