Thank you so much for making us all smile – everyone loved the music and commented on the brilliant “calling” – a bright lady! I have given your name to several folk, but I wasn’t able to tell them how far you travel for a gig, as many of our friends live in the Bristol area. Thanks again for helping to make our 60th birthday party so memorable."

"Once again thanks for playing! The band is one of the key aspects of the night and you never fail to deliver. Everyone loved the whole night, was delighted to get people who had never been to a ceilidh up dancing and this morning there were compliments flying around left right and centre with how happy they were with the band. "You made our wedding reception utterly wonderful and so many of our guests have said how much they enjoyed the evening and the music. My 93 year old grandmother refused to leave until the end and her feet were tapping all evening....she even joined in the last dance and that has to be credit to you. One table of guests had never been to a ceilidh before and said how much fun it was. "

"Thank you so much. The band were excellent, and a fantastic and fitting way to end our Griffin Arts Festival. The band immediately engaged our children and got them up singing and dancing. "No matter who we speak to that was at our wedding evening party, ALL of them say the band was amazing and we wholeheartedly agree! Possibly the best ceilidh band I've heard, topped off with really clear, friendly instruction (which can make or break this sort of thing)! Even those who aren't so inclined to dancing loved it so I can't think of a better way to get everyone involved and enjoying themselves. The guys were really helpful to deal with and the best priced as well so I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you very much for making the evening such a success chaps!"

"Wow what a night! We had an absolute ball, the band were fantastically talented and accommodating to a group of people who had never danced a Ceilidh before. There wasn’t a face in the room that didn’t have the biggest smile on it, can’t thank the team enough. Would absolutely book again and recommend to anyone needing a Ceilidh band."

"I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"I felt I must write and express my admiration for your wonderful band which played so well at our Wedding on Monday at Prestonfield House Hotel. You had gone to so much trouble to play Israeli music and to find those two girls was a stroke of genius. Alison was a terrific compere and I thought that everyone picked up the dances so quickly and so well. It was amazing how the Scottish and Jewish dances blended in so well together. Many, Many thanks to you all."

"Dear Michael, We had the BEST day, thank you so much for being a part of it. The ceilidh was amazing. I loved seeing all our family and friends dancing together. There were lots of achey people on Sunday! The bestmen are already keen to recreate the basket dance! Sorry I didn't really get to say hello to you and your band.
