Review Centre: Barn Dance Bands

"Kip and his crew were excellent from the word go. We incorporated our first dance into the ceilidh and added bridal party and parents. This was excellent, Kip talked us through it as a group and away we went. Our special moment was great fun for us and all of our guests. They did a great job of involving everybody old and young and all our guests said they had a great time. It was good fun and a great laugh. We would highly recommend them to anybody. "

"Thank you Ken for your contribution to making our Party on Saturday so brilliant. You were absolutely the right choice to give our guests (all 110) an introduction to line dancing. You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening. "Blue Jewel created a wonderful evening for our Golden Wedding party, which was enjoyed by all our family and friends. Everyone joined in the dancing and had such fun trying out new dances to the lovely music played by the band. We especially enjoyed the blessing dance which caused much hilarity and laughter. "Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! Everyone at the wedding said we nailed our music choice! If I could do it all again, Lucy and her band would be booked again and again.."

With Mike's dance-calling all dancers were able to perform even the more complex ones with no major disasters on the floor! "We booked The Blaggers for our birthday party. They were absolutely fantastic. Lovely lads who were easy to communicate with in making arrangements and then very adaptable once they arrived. They are great musicians and the set list suited our occasion perfectly. Everyone loved it and they really set a brilliant atmosphere for the evening. Couldn't recommend them highly enough."

"My WI group just had one of the best nights out with the Barnbuskers. We are not the best at taking orders but the Caller was very patient and we had such fun. I haven’t laughed that much for a long time and all the ladies present felt the same. Very talented musicians and well worth hiring for an event. Julie x"
