Review Centre: Barn Dance Bands

"I cannot fault this band in any way! We kept the ceilidh as a surprise for our wedding guests and it went down as well as we had hoped! The caller was excellent and all the guests engaged well and the dances were so fun and energetic. We have had so many compliments since our wedding about that and can't wait to see the professional photos because we know they will show just how much fun we had. The band then continued on for another hour playing covers of popular wedding songs which was also excellent. The band were very quick, efficient and professional, and the booking process, forms and numerous zoom calls made the whole thing very easy and stress-free. We really can't recommend this band enough!!"

"A huge thanks to The Shooglers for a fantastic evening at Ross Priory for Kathryn's 50th Birthday Ceilidh. The band were fantastic and got everyone up dancing from the bairns ( The "Duracell Baby" 18-month-old Ava) to the adults (80+ year old gran) in what was a memorable night for our family and friends. The pattern was good, the ceilidh music was great and Pink Floyd's "The Wall" during A Dashing White Sergeant is STILL being talked about. Thanks for a great gig guys and would highly recommend for a booking...why would you choose anyone other than The Rockiest Ceilidh band in the World? "

"From the moment I stepped into the barn and heard Blue Jewel playing I knew we'd made the best decision. Their music made us and all of our guests smile from start to finish. They got lots of people up dancing and the atmosphere was great. Steve was so reliable through the planning stages, replying to all emails within a few hours. We can't recommend these guys enough!!! "Thank you George it was a huge success and everyone loved the ceilidh part even though it was a little chaotic that just seemed to add to the merriment! Hopefully you will come and play for us again sometime as we sometimes run charity events in the village. The whole thing went by in a blur and would love to be able to go back and slow it all down! "The three chaps that make up this band were fantastic on the night, I've had nothing but compliments from the many people in attendance. The music they played was perfect, my 80 year old Irish father who's party it was hasn't stopped smiling since Saturday night. They actually learnt a song which is one of his favourites for the night. And it went down very well. I would recommend the lads to my friends and family events in the future for sure. Many thanks. "Hi Aly, Just wanted to email to say what an amazing night we had at our wedding ceilidh. Everyone commented on what a fantastic, fun night they had. We knew it would get people up dancing but we couldn't believe how full the dance floor was! From people who had never been to a ceilidh, to our Scottish friends, everyone had the time of their lives! Thank you again, and also thank you for allowing us to use your PA system and lights. "The Blaggers' music was irresistibly danceable. Their energetic and extremely skilled performance created a highly festive air. Their interpretations of folk music were as original as it was entertaining. I would not hesitate in recommending this hugely professional band. "
