"We hired Josh to play at our wedding during the canapes and drinks. He was exactly what we were looking for and he certainly did not disappoint. The performance was fantastic and made the day extra special. Would 100% recommend to anyone else looking for an act to play a mix of traditional folk and modern covers. Thanks again to Josh and co from the bride and groom."

"Iron Broo played at our wedding on the 30th May 2015 at Innes House. There were a lot of people from down south who hadn't ceilidh'd before and Charlie was brilliant at calling the dances and getting everyone involved. We also had a disco that Charlie provided later that evening. The whole evening was brilliant thank you Iron Broo."

"A superb evening of dancing and music. We had a two piece band which had a very full and rich sound. Charlie led dancers through the moves and the final Orcadian Strip the Willow was the stuff of legends - our English friends are still recovering! Iron Broo really helped to make it a great party."

"We had two wonderful ladies playing Irish music and songs at a home 21st birthday party. We had the BEST time thank you, and you guys really made the party. We’ve had such fab compliments from all the youngsters who really enjoyed your tunes - a mixture of trad folk songs and modern - and absolutely loved the couple of Ceilidh dances (even after a few drinks!) which you led so well for us, super fun. Thanks to you both for making it all so special. You really are spot on with your tunes and very talented musicians and singers. I will never understand how you can play three instruments at one time and make it all sound and feel so good. AMAZING and I would recommend for any event, young or old."

"Oh boy! Where shall I start. Amazing bunch of lads. Very funny and inhumanely talented. The atmosphere changed when they started to perform and every person was on their feet. We are still talking about it and their videos are still circulating on our WhatsApp groups. The best thing I’ve experienced in a long time. They’re too good. Big uppppppp!!!!!"

"Kelly's Heroes are highly original in their renditions of Celtic, mainly Irish, music and song. They include; a guitarist who can be a rhythm section in his own right, a remarkable native Irish singer who can move from lyrical traditional singing to a declamatory, story telling style plus versatile and virtuoso playing of accordion, fiddle and banjo. There is never a dull moment when this band are on stage while at the same while there is nothing formulaic about their musical treatments. Kelly's Heroes are utterly unique and brilliant."

A lot of our guests (some of whom are professional/semi-professional players themselves in other ceilidh bands in England and Scotland!) commented on the high standard of your musical performance as well as your ability to inspire them to put their feet on the dance floor without too many mishaps. "Second time we have heard Blue jewel - the first at their recent gig in the Stoke Gabriel Village hall just last Saturday they put on a Ceilidh Dance for our wedding reception. Really great on both occasions - super caller for our dance - just right for the many who had never done folk dancing and on both occasions their enthusiasm and light touch really made for a great evening. Would recommend for any occasion "

"The ceilidh was the highlight of our wedding. Despite us running very late on the day, Blue Jewel were extremely professional and adaptable, and put on a stunning ceilidh. The atmosphere they created was exactly what we hoped for. Everyone joined in, everyone laughed, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Thank you to you all- a real evening to remember! :)"
