"My heart is full of joy this morning. Last night whilst I trying to persuade my daughter to come to the ceilidh with me, She was being all 15. "I'm not dancing", "I might do ONE but only if M*&a (also 15) does it too and I'm NOT touching some random person". They both absolutely LOVED it, one dance in and they were off doing every dance and holding hands with everyone, doing a promenade with anyone that was next to them. It's really hard to find something to do with a 15 year old where they actually want to hang out with you other than a theme park, but the power of ceildh dancing seems to overcome all obstacles..."

"Thank you so much for the performance yesterday! It was wonderful and all the guests enjoyed it thoroughly, young and old alike. We also really appreciate the last-minute decision to play the Jewish klezmer music. This was far far better than using a recording and you guys did it perfectly. Thank you again! "We asked Michael to organise a Johnny Cash tribute band for our dad. He brought the band in and they were brilliant. Michael was so accommodation and gave us just what we needed. Recommended."

"Methlick Community Jubilee Family Ceilidh What a night we had in June with the Iron Broo Ceilidh Band. From the minute they started until they stopped the dance floor was full of people dancing. It was great have a range of ages. The night went in a flash and we all had the best time. The band were excellent at explaining what to do for those never been to a ceilidh before and a good reminder for us that haven’t had our dancing shoes on for way to long. No photos as too busy dancing the night away"

"The band were excellent lots of my friends commented how much they enjoyed them. They were very flexible and played two additional sets that helped create an atmosphere that my friends did not want to leave. The band had everyone dancing from the first song to the last one four hours later."

"No one talks about our wedding without mentioning the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. These talented musicians provided the perfect end to the perfect day. Somehow everyone, even the shyest of our guests, got up and danced the night away with the infectious enthusiasm of the band. The ceilidh provided a relaxed, fun way for all of our guests to mix and meet one another, and allowed us to dance with everyone! Both myself and my husband adore folk music, and we could not have chosen a friendlier, more talented band than the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band. A particular highlight was when the band performed a traditional wedding piece, where all of our guests danced around us who were sat in the middle! I cannot recommend this band enough, wonderfully warm people with superb talent. Obviously we were on a budget paying for a whole wedding, but these guys are very reasonably priced and deliver much more than the price we paid. Thank you all very, very much for giving us the wedding reception we dreamed of."

"Rosie and Martin performed at our opening night in the gallery i co-run in Trowbridge, Wilts, they were everything we hoped for!, they really helped make the event feel special for us and our guests and didn't even complain when i asked then to move to different rooms 3 times during the evening! "We booked the band for our wedding reception back in October. We are both huge Irish music fans and have had several memorable trips to Ireland so it was especially important to us to have a live Irish band on our big day. We spend a fair amount of time looking for the "perfect Irish band" and were over the moon to have found The Extonions. From the initial enquiry Mac was both friendly and very professional. He instantly made us feel like we had made the right decision and was more than happy to include any special song requests we had. He then made sure they included on the night and that everyone had a great time. All the band members were lovely and friendly chatting to our guests and fitted in perfectly with our relaxed party atmosphere. Many of our guests have commented on how great they were and we would not hesitate in booking them again in the future or recommending them to others. Thanks so much for making our wedding day so memorable."
