"What a great night, was an amazing finish to a surprise party. Was a last minute decision and Big Skies were happy to reassure and be flexible. Somehow we managed to sneak the setup in and surprise the wife, it certainly made the party. The music was great, and they just dealt with it all for me, wouldn't hesitate to rebook. They even stayed for a burger, beer and a go on the rodeo :) Thank you and good luck "

"We booked Up The COuntry for our wedding as me and my wife are massive Luke Combs fans. Up The Country performed our first dance song just as good if not better than the original as well as played our favourite country songs! They were by far the highlight of our wedding evening! "

"We had these guys do a ceilidh for a joint 40th birthday party and they were absolutely brilliant. Beautiful music, a brilliant caller in Jake who struck exactly the right tone for the bash. Clear instructions, slowly bringing the music in, a lot of fun and the right mix of old and new ceilidhs. Would highly recommend"

"We were delighted with the ceilidh band; they were lovely, professional and sounded brilliant! I was really impressed how they matched the energy of the guests really well, making sure to give little breaks or easier dances when energy was flagging and also played some lovely high energy numbers to get the dancing started! The venue was also really complimentary at how quick and professional they were at setting up and putting away at the end with no bother. Lastly, they pitched the level perfectly with some more difficult pieces and some easier ones that really suited our mostly beginner crowd. Their calling was fun and upbeat and they were polite and professional to a fault. "You were AMAZING!! Everything about you and your team was awesome. You made me feel so comfortable in communications beforehand and I wasn’t worried about a thing as a result. And I was right not to worry, as it was perfect from start to finish. The music and the 'calling' were the best I have ever come across. And the piper too was brilliant. "We hired Blackbeard's Tea Party for ceilidh at our wedding- the groom has been a fan of them for many years, so we were delighted that they offered ceilidh hires. They were the highlight of the day- everyone was so friendly and it was exactly what we wanted. They were very organised and the tunes worked very well for the ceilidh, even if people were beginners. The caller was great and got everybody involved- in fact two of our guests were so impressed they've booked him for their wedding! The band played several sets with the right amount of breaks in between and we enjoyed their performance of some of their tunes in between. Brilliant atmosphere and so much fun- would 100% recommend!"

"We had Kip and the Blue Diamond ceilidh band play at our fund raiser for the MNDA. We received so many comments stating what a fantastic band they were and a very fun evening was had by all. We will definitely be repeating next year. Would highly recommend this band."

"We have just got back from honeymoon and I just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding. They were everything I had hoped for and we absolutely loved them - for us they ended our wedding day perfectly - I wish we had an excuse to hire them again!! The dance floor was always full and it pained me when I had to leave for a second - trying to look like a picture perfect bride went out the window completely! Luke went from holding the train of my dress at the start of the day to pulling me back on the dance floor by it by at the end!! It was a pleasure dealing with you Laura, and also Sarah Jane, - you were both helpful and extremely professional - as were the band on the day. I wish I could say the same for all the people we dealt with. Laura having you there on the day to ask questions and make sure everything ran correctly was great - again I wish had the same communication from other providers. We had so many comments about how great the band were and I can honestly say everyone involved helped make our day very special. "
