"The Extonions played at our wedding in Somerset at the end of October and we cannot recommend them highly enough! They got everyone up on their feet and all our guests enjoyed dancing, clapping and tapping along! A very talented group of musicians and a must see! Thank you all so much."

"The music was really lovely" Thank you so much for playing at our wedding (9th September 2023* Saturday Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 1BD}.The music was really lovely and it's a testament to how great it was that so many people were dancing on such a hot day! "The most amazing band we could have ever wished to play at our wedding! Their set list and variety was amazing and as well as being so talented they were so easy to work with. Everyone was on the dance floor from start to finish we couldn’t recommend them enough! Would 100% book again!"

"The perfect choice for our annual summer fete (6th September 2025 Saturday Arlington Square, London, N1}. Mick & Co entered into the spirit of the event and kept everyone happy with a great mix of music. They were so popular that numerous people have already demanded that we book them for next year's fete... Many thanks again for providing the music for our Fete. I've heard nothing but compliments about the band. It's a bit early for that, but the Fete is always the first Saturday in September, so you might want to pencil in 5 Sep 2026 for a possible gig. We haven't done all the sums yet, but it looks like this year's affair broke all records when it came to fund-raising – over £5,000 to be shared between three local good causes! I'm sure the good vibe generated by yesterday's music encouraged the crowd to be generous. Please pass on our warmest thanks to Carlene, Caroline and Mick. I look forward to seeing you all again. "Everyone had a fabulous time at the Ceilidh on Friday night. Most people were beginners at the event but Sarah, the caller, got everyone dancing away. She was very clear, so everyone knew exactly what they should be doing and there weren't too many toes stepped on! It was great fun and the musicians were professional and sounded great. We all had a lovely time dancing and listening to the band. Vikki"

"I recently organised a surprise 40th birthday barn dance for my wife’s 40th birthday. Kip whom I was in contact with prior to the event was helpful and a breeze to deal with and when it came to the event itself Kip and the band were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much the three of you, you really made it a fun, hilarious and quality evening that we will always remember. So many people who’d never been to a barn dance have since said to me they are converts, and those that already had experience of ceilidhs extolled your virtues too. These things can hinge on the caller and Kip gauged the crowd perfectly - really making sure we all had a fantastic evening. Thank you so much again, would not hesitate to recommend or book again. Please let us know when you play at Plympton Guildhall next, we will definitely be there. Best Greg"

"Thanks once again for playing at our event. The band was brilliant and your voice was amazing. I particularly like the way you guys adapted each set to the needs of the event. Your sound engineer, Remko constantly adapted the set up and sound to make sure that it sounded great around the whole venue. Lighting and even a smoke machine (!) made the barn into a real western disco! ll in all it made for a fantastic night, Thanks you AMERICANA!!!!!"

"Funk With Us are absolutely phenomenal. Obviously I am biased but they are honestly the best wedding band I’ve ever seen perform. All of our guests have since commented that our band were fantastic and I couldn’t recommend more highly! Lilac and Remko are so easy to talk to and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Such a talented bunch!"

"We had such good feedback about your performance! Everyone that came had a great time and that's definitely down to the superb music and also the very well-explained and inclusive calling. I honestly would not have believed that the majority of people dancing were new to ceilidh dancing from watching them, they all took to it really fast. We'd love it if you'd like to play again as the band was definitely the key to the success of the night."
